[history]
I don't want to listen to Rush Limbaugh. I just don't need the aggravation. We simply disagree on too many issues. The bombastic, nationally syndicated radio talk show host has pummeled just about anyone who isn't a card-carrying citizen of his vision of good ol' white-bread U.S. of A. That would include feminists, gays, blacks, immigrants -- if I left anyone out, please raise your hand!

Funny, I canceled my subscription to SI years ago specifically because IT became "too political." There was always a column about the environment or some other leftist issue. As Limbaugh says, therefore, he IS balance.

Nor is it likely he represents fans who are relatives and friends of NFL players, roughly two-thirds of whom are African-American.
His comments are completely unfounded. You're new at FR. Learn to read the complete article before commenting on it.

That should be his signoff line.

It would appear that you enjoy playing the role of DUmmy. Please keep chattering away. You can go back to your DUmb board shortly.

How does Jim treat these liberal lurkers? I've seen a few who have been banned, but does anyone know of a policy of how they are removed?

Whether Freepers like Walter Williams or not is not the point. The point is that if Rush Limbaugh were racist, he would not be asking blacks to substitute for him while he is on vacation (or marry him, screen his calls, etc.).

or France if I am there sitting at a sidewalk cafe with a glass of Merlot He must not get to France to have that glass much. They would never call it by the grape variety like we do here. It would be most likely referred to by the chateau, commune, district, appellation controlee or the region it came from instead. That is a lot more important to your average frog than the grape type.

I repeat the quote from SI:

Oh, I didn't know there were so many avid SI readers in Freeper land. I just popped in and saw it there. I don't go there very often because they don't have very much info on my local team.

Isn't ESPN owned by ABC, who in turn, has a chunk of Disney? I wouldn't expect anything less from this bunch. Just curious, but what is your problem with ESPN?
To: GulliverSwift
When has Rush ever given any indication he doesn't like blacks?! This guy is whack!

With all of the many options of how to use my scarce free time, I don't usually prioritize watching sports on the tube. However, Rush on ESPN changes things! I'm sure to tune in from time to time if Rush is in the booth.
