THANK YOU, Aqua for going there to show support and for your report on what you experienced.
I believe that this is a defining moment in America's history.
God Bless Judge Moore for his courage & dedication to the principals upon which this nation was founded!

Regarding the monument, I note that Judge Moore has also placed near the statute texts from secular sources, including the words of Frederick Douglass that slavery was tantamount to "hiding from the laws of God." And quotes from other sources indicating the moral foundation of law. So while the commandments rest supreme, the monument and plaques -- at least according to press reports -- include other texts also.
Are those press reports accurate? When you saw the Ten Commandments, did you see other plaques or quotes on or near the monument? Or how did it seem to you?
I'm just curious.

Aqua, thank you so much for doing this today. I hope you know how much I appreciate you and how much it means to me that you 'wanted' to post your report and pictures in a special Finest thread. I know how hard you worked on it - believe me, the other hostesses also know how hard you worked to learn the mechanics of one from scratch. :)
Your vignette of the father and two children is great! (Dutchess, lookie! Has your software come in yet?!)
Thanks again - it's a special treat for me this week to sit back and enjoy today and tomorrow as a 'guest', rather than the hostess!

The Space Infrared Telescope Facility (SIRTF) blasted off into space today. Were you a part if that NASA effort? Nope. I have been on other projects as of late. However, I have some friends on it and they are really excited! :-)

How did you get stuck in the bathroom :))

Hi Radio! Is your dental work all done? Or do you have more appointments yet?
I think Radio's project is still all over his living room floor!

The doors were locked when we got there and I regret that I could only see the monument from a distance.
Here is a great site with the answers to all your questions about the monument.
