They come here to get a better life. Seems like that's why all our ancestors came here.

I'd rather spend the money on their education than on the war in Iraq.

"They come here to get a better life. Seems like that's why all our ancestors came here."
My ancestors didn't ask for handouts. My ancestors did not insist on speaking their native language. My ancestors identified themselves as Americans, not hyphenated with some other word. My ancestors didn't have anyone to feel sorry about them. My ancestors paid their own way. My ancestors didn't complain. My ancestors would have been ashamed to take welfare. My ancestors made it on their own. My ancestors didn't urinate in public.

Also many of the illegals are from the very large and fast growing Mexican criminal class. Sure there might be some pretty decent types ---- but nothing stops the worst violent gangs from Mexico from coming on over. Look at the murder rate in cities like Ciudad Juarez and Mexico City and then brag about the wonderful culture they're bringing over with them. If Mexicans were so inclined to pay taxes and make things great, you would have to explain why they didn't do it back in their own homeland.

I'll send that part of my huge property tax bill to you so you can pay it. We're having to build new schools just to accommodate illegal aliens. California kids are being held back in their studies so the kids of illegals can "catch up". Nothing fair about that, it's not our responsibility, there's millions of them here.

Well sh*t, with that logic, lets let the entire world in here. F the laws and borders. Lets just open the whole f-ing country up to the world. After all, they just want a better life. We can build 1, 40 story pink apartment building all across the plains of Texas.

Obviously you had never taken the two-hour drive to the beautiful San Joaquin Valley. The public schools here are literally bursting at the seams because of the influx of illegal aliens. In some small towns, they add enough children each year to fill a new school but don't generate the tax base to build one. They are a huge drain on CA's budget. But that's not your problem any more.

The problem is that illegal aliens are coming here ILLEGALLY. Foreigners who want to come to and live in the U.S. need to obey our immigration laws.

My ancestors fought for this country in the Revolutionary War.

Not all of our ancestors are immigrants.

Also, I would venture that family of immigrants also don't like illegal immigration when their own forefathers came legally.
