You're offering me an echo, not a choice. McClintock would definitely be better than either as he's the only choice.

Perhaps we should just all vote for Jesus Christ as he's gonna show up eventually and would be better than anyone else. Perhaps the ghost of Calvin Coolidge should run.

Look pal, I'm not yet an Arnold supporter but you have to have some pragmatism on this. If all conservatives vote for McClintock while no one else does, he loses. Period. I'm not throwing in the towel on the guy but you have to realize that politics isn't a game! This isn't about voting for the BEST MAN for the job. It's about voting for the BETTER MAN for the job. Get out of fantasy land and realize this obvious fact!!!!

Acutally the latest numbers had Arnold winning 23-18% over Bustamante with McClintock in the race, but this was before Simon dropped out.

"Silent Cal?" You've doomed us all to having to listen to 30 minutes of dead air at his press conferences! ;)

Yo, put down the annoying magic marker font, shouting only weakens your argument.

Simon and McClintock were drawing from the same pool, so now that Simon is out there is no reason for McC to drop out before the debates, and before we see how Arnold performs and weathers the dribbling of smear attacks. What if McC and Petey drop and then Arnold nosedives from some scandal release? And who is to say that Arnold won't end up left enough on certain positions that McC can't emerge on top in a 3 + leftovers race? It is still possible that a candidate could win with just 30%.

I wouldn't saddle the Son of God with the mess in Sacramento.

"Perhaps the ghost of Calvin Coolidge should run."

There ya go.

"Look pal, I'm not yet an Arnold supporter but you have to have some pragmatism on this."

There's pragmatism and there's being a complete sell-out, that's the rub.

You're talking to someone who knows history -- political history. I know what happens when you capitulate and completely sell out your ideals, and you get what you deserve. Voting for Ah-nold is a vote to commit political suicide and a win-win for the 'Rats. Why don't you guys wake up and understand that ?
