If you'll note, I support Schwarzenegger as only a fall back position. I is the sheer lunatic rants from supposed conservatives who seem willing to see BustaMorte elected that have forced me to defend A.S.
You should push McClintock's views. I'd support you. This thread has done nothing to advance him or his views in the slightest. And that's why I say you're doing the DU's work for it.
You slam A.S. unmercifly and illogicly, then fail to push your own man's agenda. What more could DU hope for? You don't see this?

Look pal, I use this font for a reason and for the record THIS IS SHOUTING, not this.Feel free to put me on ignore if you wish, I don't care. I like McClintock and look forward to seeing a debate. I hope he waits until at least September 15th before dropping out. I think part of the Simon vote will go to Arnold, not McClintock. Why? Well, consider this, everyone on this forum who claims to be a "true" conservative back McClintock, not Simon. Those who backed Simon are, IMO, people who didn't know enough about McClintock to support him. At least half of them will move to Arnold.

I was guessing that McClintock would pull at least half of the Simon voters over, if not more..
To: ambrose
Ambrose, those folks who attend Sierra Club meetings are praying for BustaMorbid to win. Come on bud, you know that.
To: DoughtyOne
Arnold is much more liberal than Bustamonte. In fact, Joe Lieberman supports Bustamonte.

Summer, since you have no stake in this race, would you please quite posting for DU on this thread. DoughtyOne, that is a very rude thing to say to someone who as far as I know is only putting forth the conservative position. I don't know about you, but conservatives don't like being called far Left kooks.
There is something you need to read that is playing your emotions like a marionette, his name is Bob Mulholund. Please read read # 41 at http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/969174/posts you are a good conservative, and this is important.
Lemme know what you think.
Incendentally, I was trolling on the dark side last night and you know what? Some there are mad that Bustamante is raising taxes on Booze Cigarettes, FYI. Ahhh, to not understand my party's platform and be young again...Mu ha ha haaa. Bustamante is a dead man walking.

There are plenty of threads about Tom and his stances and ideas. This started as a Simon, btw.
Also, Why state Tom should drop out by Sept 15th when the last major debate is the 17th?
Come on, you can do better than that.

"Perhaps we should just all vote for Jesus Christ as he's gonna show up eventually and would be better than anyone else."
I wouldn't saddle the Son of God with the mess in Sacramento.
"Perhaps the ghost of Calvin Coolidge should run."
There ya go.
"Look pal, I'm not yet an Arnold supporter but you have to have some pragmatism on this."
There's pragmatism and there's being a complete sell-out, that's the rub.
"If all conservatives vote for McClintock while no one else does, he loses. Period. I'm not throwing in the towel on the guy but you have to realize that politics isn't a game! This isn't about voting for the BEST MAN for the job. It's about voting for the BETTER MAN for the job. Get out of fantasy land and realize this obvious fact!!!!"
You're talking to someone who knows history -- political history. I know what happens when you capitulate and completely sell out your ideals, and you get what you deserve. Voting for Ah-nold is a vote to commit political suicide and a win-win for the 'Rats. Why don't you guys wake up and understand that ?

We've had our differences on this and other threads. But to be fair, that graphic is funny.

What part of the word "SEPARATIST" do you not understand? Are you completely ignorant of what Mecha and the Aztlan movement are all about? You talk in vague generalities about the future. What future?
We have a condidate who was a member of Mecha, the movement to break California away from the union. He has refused to renounce his membership or his statements concerning the Aztlan movement.
Visit www.aztlan.net. Look around. Do a web search for Mecha and look around.
I will NOT entertain for a moment the viability of BustaMecha leading this state, and having upwards of 12.5 years to move his fellow separatists into positions of power. If you can't grasp that, then you're helpless.
To: prarie earth
McClintock will get nearly all of Simon's voters.
It's hard to determine what their real numbers are in the polls because the whole election is so UnOrthodox.
But for now I'm assuming that the Field poll is the most accurate because they are in California.

OK, you tell me how Ah-nold is going to stop this from happening ? Is he going to take the racist Pete Wilson "they keep coming" approach ? C'mon, give me some details here !
