Arnold should drop out now and endorse McClintock.

"No matter what the polls were telling him."
I have to disagree. This is good for a primary election, but not a general election. If you can't convince the voters of your cause, you don't need to sour people against your message by being a spoiler. It is better to fight another day.

Any further delay to coalesce around Arnie is just one closer step for Bustamente to be the next Governor of California.Time's up. Brulte just said (yesterday, I think) that while it would be best to unite around one candidate at some point, that point is still quite a ways away.
Which anyone with their head up instead of elsewhere can see.

Why ? New policy from Jim? He makes no bones about his support and I guess you are following orders, correct?

Well, if Arnold is causing an uproar over in the dovecotes of the DU, that has to come across as a positive. Perhaps a lot of them have secret crushes on Arnold, and they know they are going to give him their vote in the secrecy of the voting booth. But they have to make a public announcement of their horror at the prospect, so as not to gain the wrath of their compatriots.
That explains the feminized males that post there, but what about the militant lesbians? lol

"I read a post where a so-called 'conservative' was upset that somebody else was making 30 million dollars a year. Wasn't that summer who said that?
All the while acting like her hero, Jeb Bush, lives on $120,000 a year...........LOL.

I can understand your cynicism, but clearly there is a difference between RINO liberals and the Conservative mainstream of the party. If the folks who proclaim to be Conservative turn out to be anything but, work hard to beat them in primaries and replace them with the real deal. That's all we can do. Don't give up !

"Conservatives blew the election the last time around by putting Simon on the ballot instead of the more acceptable Riordan."
Give me a break, Riordan is more liberal than Davis is.

I think McClintock said his tracking polls so it 25% for cruz, 22% Arnold and 12% for him. The Dems seem to not be beating this polling in to much on TV today so I think the track still shows 55+ for recall.

The Hotline was discussing some rumours that there would be not many candidates with over 10% so it would be opened to the top 6 only.
The real test for McClintock is the next polling with Simon out, if he doesn't pull at least 10% then he should resign.

No, we try to be fair. Forum rules say no personal attacks. No exceptions.

Ronald Reagan has NO political experience when he was elected governor back in 1966. George W. Bush had NO political experience when he was elected governor of Texas in 1994. They did excellent jobs in the statehouse and both went on to be terrific presidents.
Like I said, if Arnold, I hope he is not an even bigger flop thatn Davis. If Arnold does win, and is a flop, that might not bode well for GW in 2004.

Are you totally clueless or are you just acting that way?
You evidently have no idea how much the Bush family is worth -- and yes, Jeb IS part of that family and will share in the wealth, so stop acting like he lives like the rest of us. He doesn't.

"I'm a teacher.." Public school right.Seems you have an inablility to understand that money doesn't always change a persons view of the world.Your comment makes you sound that you fall for democrat party class warfare theory.

Folks, quit hawking things that slam Schwarzenegger. And why not? He said illegals should get free schooling at our expense, is against Prop. 54, and wants to raise our taxes. A physically fit version of Bustamante?
