BTW, I saw McClintock last night on Hannity & Colmes, and I thought Alan Colmes was nicer to him than Sean. Sean seems mesmerized by Arnold and Hollywood, while Alan seemed perplexed why MCClintock's 20 years of experience and tax-cutting proposals was not attracting more conserv atives. Maybe if McClintock had a Kennedy-wife, Sean would have been more interested. No offense to Sean, but he is gah-gah over Arnold for reasons that elude me.

It's a shame to see that many republicans would support hillery if she had an R after her name. Party over principle is what got us here, can't see it as a cure. A choice between arnuld and a dem seems to be a false choice to me.

He is a brilliant career politician with every word carefully polished. Career politicians do not great leaders make. His time will come elsewhere.

Hannity like many "East coast idolizers" are gaw-gaw over "movie stars", personally I am not impressed since Aunold et al were my neighbors for many years. I've seen them off camera and before they've had their makeup on! McClintock was excellent on CNN...had plenty of time to answer questions...Matthews on CNBC Hardball gave him little time...Matthews seems more interested in "gotcha" questions than serious investigative journalism...click here

Can't see how an R after her name would help do any more than make the party look even more foolish.

"He is a brilliant career politician with every word carefully polished. Career politicians do not great leaders make..." Two points before I depart. One, would you consider Ronald Reagan a career politician? Second, would you feel better if McClintock stammered and stuttered like Pete Wilson(who was the last RINO who was elected governor of CA and raised taxes after vowing "not to raise taxes" in the campaign but just couldn't help himself despite it being in the middle of the first recession in CA history which made things worse and prolonged the recovery. Or would you feel better if McClintock just played "hide and seek" like Aunold and not show up at all? Man, some people would be unhappy if the candles weren't lit on your birthday cake! ROFLMAO

If she voted as a liberal she would support liberal committe heads and vote for liberal bills. She does that now.

It wouldn't make the Dems look good either if she switched and it would make it harder for them to take control if a vacancy occurred.

I missed him on Hannity and Colmes as I had a commitment and forget to set the VCR? Details on that one?

It wouldn't make the Dems look good either if she switched and it would make it harder for them to take control if a vacancy occurred. The dems would see it as the lack of principle in the republican party to accept her, and I'd agree with them. The tricky thing about belonging to a political party is you are supposed to support their policy
Since she's going to support the liberal position I can't see how the R would affect vacancies, she has 1 vote and it wouldn't be for a conservative position.
