Well we have to think of something. Some people have been making hints of violence. And if we don't think of something, it's going to get a lot more ugly. I don't want to make martyrs of these creeps.

Well, hopefully it won't come to violence. But, I would say that the enemies of traditional values have been pushing their luck awfully hard lately.

I agree, it's not terribly Christian to kill one's enemies unless absolutely necessary and then arguably that is something where reality sort of takes the front seat to "Christian principles" as in war or self defense.

I could see violence regarding RKBA...most definitely.

Infanticide perhaps if the popular support were there and the government resisted the will of the people.

Excessive taxation or porperty rights issues....these always lead to violence eventually if unheeded.

But, clashes over symbolism...which I support obviously....nah...but we do need to keep on the offensive..we have been reeling for 40 years from their offense. Let them feel the heat for awhile.

No nation lasts forever in it's present incarnation...and we are no exception. The continuing anti-pluralist secularism here will only contribute to our eventual demise....in my view.

For some rather odd reason, this arena was best left largely alone until around 1970 when apparently great number of folks suddenly got much smarter than our founder and the subsequent leaders before that. It's a wonder we survived such a "theocracy" all those years...our foes will not stop until God is removed from the public arena period.

Civil Disobedience -- rally citizens to withold all government payment (tax, school fees, utilities, loan repayment, fines, rents, etc.) until the government is on its knees.

There should be ten million people around that courthouse on Monday. By the end of the week there should be 50 million. If the SCOTUS want's to waffle on this issue, let it. Peaceful protest was recongized as very effective during the 60's. It's about time our side showed 'em how it's really done!

If the hints would be serious, best the board not be the focal point.

There are other venues.

This is just the beginning. The fact is the Constitution gives us freedom OF religion, not freedom FROM it!
This is about public places and the display of religous things it them, yes? Well, WE are the public, are we not?
If they don't want a copy of the Commandments in ONE public place in Alabama what are they going to do when hundreds of thousands of citizens post them in a million public places?
Time for a simple, inexpensive grassroots rebellion.
EVERYONE who is outraged by this- and not just in Alabama- print up some copies of the Ten Commandments and put a copy EVERYWHERE you go. Walls, telephone poles, libraires, stores, supermarkets. Tape them up, tuck them in magazines or on shelves. Sure, they will be taken down- but KEEP doing it. And make signs for your private places too- your lawns, your businesses, your car windows. Post the Ten Commandments EVERYWHERE. Everyone who is outraged- start tomorrow.
Remember- WE are the public, and the laws are for the people, the people are not for the laws.
