Opposition to the President, I take it, is the hallmark of the intellectually mature.
------------------------
No. The nature of that opposition is to be examined. When Bush stand up to declare it is America's obligation to share it's wealth with the world, I'll vomit all over him. When he starts repeating Bill Clinton's and Kofi Annan's speaches word for word, I will oppose him. When his immigration policies are such as to make several states a suburb of Mexico financed by our system of social services, I will oppose him. Got it yet? Or do you want to hear henhouse clucking instead?

Nope....never was a fan of Ken or Barbie. I don't like painted-on hair, but.........
I liked Alan Keyes a long time ago until I got a better feel for what he is REALLY about. Just the company he hires/keeps says much about his character.
I'll never deny his oratory skills but as the old saying goes, "Actions speak louder than words".

Well, RLK, I do indeed get it. I have gotten your position for a long time. I have seen you support NOTHING that the President has done. You consider him your intellectual inferior, you resent his family, and every single thing he does is poisoned by your dislike of him personally.
So, I believe I will stick with the chickens in the henhouse. Just remember, though...chickens do come home to roost.

Not nearly verbose enough.

So the whole "newbie to FR", "what is a retread?" thing was a ruse just to throw us all off, huh? ; ) (Honesty apparently doesn't mean a whole hell of a lot to this person, which is interesting for someone who seems to consider himself/herself the President's moral superior.)

You'll find yourself very comfortable there. Dr. Keyes said of Constitution Party presidential nominee Howard Phillips, "Howard has the right principles."

Judge Moore is not disobeying any law. There is no legal basis for the ruling against him.

At the time that the First Amendment was written and adopted, seven states had the Church of England as their established religion, five had some other religion established. Only one had no established religion.
Congress is not allowed under the First Amendment to make any law regarding this one way or another, and without a Federal law on the matter, the Federal courts have no jurisdiction over it. This is simply judicial tyranny.
The Alabama Constitution makes it clear that it is based on Christianity.
Try this: The next time you're in DC, go to the Jefferson Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial. Read the inscriptions on the walls. They speak prominently of God. Should we have to take them down, or remove the inscriptions, since these are Federal buildings?
In the Supreme Court is a statue of Moses holding the Ten Commandments. Yet somehow it's not OK for Judge Moore?

Take them down and declare they never existed. We live in a time of Orwellspeak.

The President needs and deserves to be attacked on numerous issues on which he has abandoned conservative positions, if he ever held them. What is more important, personalities or principles?
And what "very inflammatory comment in Oklahoma"?

Down the memory hole. Mustn't have any religious expression, now. This is the land of the free, you know.
Besides, religion teaches that there are things more important than the State. Can't have that! It will damage the politicians' self-esteem (which is fragile enough since they couldn't get real jobs in the private sector.)

I'm not a believer. However this lunatic militant atheism which is being enforced by the courts, the universities and elsewhere is little more than a form of runamok sadism. There is a difference between separation of church and state and militant suppression of rational morality. The same is true of environmentalism. There should be concerns about the environment. However, the environmental movement is being misused as a form of sadistic obstructionism.
