Letter To The President In Support Of Israel ~
Thanks, dennisw! I appreciate the info and the links!
I read that. Book is quite true to the title. Has to do with Israel and the Palestinian peace negotiations of the 1990s and early 2000. All the peacemaking of the 1990's, the Oslo negotiations, came at a very high cost to Israel. Israel ended up with nothing peaceful but a lot more terror. Israel ended up with a depressed economy and an IDF on alert. A down on his luck, terrorist scumbag named Arafat was rehabilitated to serve as Israel's "partner in peace" during Oslo.
Bill Clinton's treachery, double crossing Israel and ego are exposed in this book. Israeli left also bears responsibility for that mess.
Islam Expert Hopes New Book Will Debunk 'Peaceful Religion' Myth By Chad Groening (AgapePress) - An author and Middle East expert says many Americans still do not understand the true nature of Islam. Robert Spencer is an adjunct fellow at the Free Congress Foundation, a conservative think tank based in Washington, DC. In 2002, following the 9-11 terrorist attacks against U.S. targets, Spencer published Islam Unveiled (Encounter Books), a book in which he attempted to debunk the notion that Islam is a peaceful religion that has merely been hijacked by extremists. However, Spencer says too many people still believe the myth that Islam is a religion of peace. Therefore, he has published a new book called Onward Muslim Soldiers (Regnery Publishing, 2003). In it, the author emphasizes that jihad or "holy war" is a principle that all true Muslims are expected to follow. "Jihad means making war against Jews and Christians primarily and non-Muslims in general until they either become Muslim or pay the non-Muslim tax, which is part of an elaborately detailed system that enforces second-class citizen status for non-Muslims in Muslim society," the author says. Spencer points out that jihad calls upon true Muslims to convert nonbelievers or force them to submit to second-class treatment. Yet the author notes that many people are resistant to the truth about Islam. "After the first book, I found all kinds of reviews saying 'This guy is just taking a couple of Koran verses out of context and trying to build something on them and smear a whole religion, and you can take the Bible and do the same thing.' And I thought well, obviously the point has still not been made," he says. Spencer believes that until Americans understand the intent of the Muslim world, the U.S. will continue to be vulnerable to violent terrorist attacks. He hopes his new book will get Americans to understand what makes Islam dangerously distinct. "Islam is different from other religions in the world in that it is an elaborately detailed theology and legal system that mandates that Muslims must make war against non-Muslims," Spencer says. The Middle East scholar's new book examines several contemporary issues related to the Islamic threat, focusing on facts the author feels the media often disregard or deny. Onward Muslim Soldiers addresses such topics as the U.S. occupation of Iraq, American liberals' "unholy alliance" with radical Islam, and how the concept of jihad is undermining the Middle East peace process and Western Europe's commitment to freedom. A 20-year student of Islam, Spencer is also a board member of the Christian-Islamic Forum. His articles on Islam and other subjects have appeared in Human Events, CNSNews.com, National Review Online, Chronicles, and Crisis. © 2003 AgapePress all rights reserved. |

Lots to read on an evil religion.
Hi...Dennis and Salem,
Read through this thread...Thank You for all of the great links and Reading Suggestions.
I will review them later and will order a copy of "Onward Islamic Soldiers".
Our Nation must wake up and Soon!
This Islamic - Islama Nazi machine is Nothing to fool around with, nor should they ever be taken for granted...err I mean given the position of: Status Quo / Normalcy in the USA.
There will be no second-place winner, no "third way" solution-- it is March or Die time, folks.
It is Us versus an eighth-century "culture" of plunder, forced religious "conversions," and the mistreatment of women.
The sooner we face up to this fact realistically and quit dancing around PC talking-point nonsense about diversity and tolerance, the better off we'll all be.
We did not pick this fight- which really has roots in Jimmy Carter's appeasement in 1979 of militants- but we had damned well better see it for what it is, and be prepared to face it and finish it.
I'll put it in raw, personal terms-- I don't want Sharia law visited upon my women, and I don't want a goat-roper "culture" infesting my land.
I don't want their vile, nasty, loathsome weapons of mass destruction loosed upon my fair country, either.
They picked the fight, and now it is up to us to finish it- balls to the wall, hammer and anvil, fire and blood and iron... freedom is never, ever free, and the coin you pay it in is men's lives and tears and blood.
What we saw during Gulf War I was our military doctrine ( high tech ) versus Soviet doctrine ( throw a lot of low tech iron at the problem )-- and we all know how that turned out.
What we have just seen in the 3-Week War is Information-Tech,
( What some are calling it Hyperwarfare... )
or 21st Century warfare versus 20th Century...
What I would suggest, and call your attention to, is the fact that we, and Israel, are capable of waging 21st Century warfare, and the entire Arab world is not.
Proven fact, by recent events.
One more thing- this will be a war where we are all called to be warriors- so I suggest to you that the time has come to get hard, and stay hard... it really is the time for fire and blood and Iron...
1000 Year for Revenge - International Terrorism and the FBI
the untold story by Peter Lange
EXCELLENT
IF the FBI shared information and networked like the enemy we would be a secure nation! A NEW agency is needed - the FBI is not capable of transforming to accomplish the task!
The time line alone is worth the cost of the book!
America, America (1963)
In his 1988 autobiography, A Life, director Elia Kazan recounts a disagreement he had with his production advisors while working on America, America. The films protagonist, a twenty-year-old Anatolian Greek of humble origins named Stavros (Stathis Giallelis), arrives as an immigrant in the United States, whereupon he falls to his knees in gratitude and kisses the ground. Kazan was told that the gesture was a cliché and should be cut from the movie. He at first relented, but then had second-thoughts: I doubt that anyone born in the United States has or can have a true appreciation of what America is. The ground-kissing scene was left intact. America, America was too close to Kazans heart for compromise. He wrote the screenplay (and novel) as a means of exploring his familys cultural heritage and honoring the dreams that brought Europeans pouring into America at the turn of the century. Kazan, born in Turkey, was four years old when he came to the U.S. with his parents in 1912.
The character of Stavros Topouzoglou is based on Kazans uncle, who was the first member of the family to immigrate. America, America primarily concerns Stavros journey from central Turkey to the harbor city of Constantinople, where he eventually boards passage to the States. Filmed on location under difficult circumstances, the movie looks and sounds unlike anything Kazan had directed before. The first hour is an extraordinary depiction of impoverished villages percolating with vibrant folk music and whispered political tensions. Fog-shrouded mountain vistas stretch across the landscape. Oppression rears its head when the Turkish Army sets fire to a church filled with Armenian women and children.
-All Terror, All the Time-- FR's links to NBC Warfare, Terror, and More...--
You know, I agree that the whole religion of peace thing is complex. I'd certainly feel safer having most American Muslims living next door than a white supremacist "Christian." But the fact remains that if Islam is a religion of peace, they have run harder and faster from what their founder believed than any religion ever has. Trust me on this, I did my last paper on Muhammad's early military campaigns and their relation to the Qu'ran. Muhammad wanted infidel blood, period.
Oh, and one last thing:
Lighten up, Francis.
