Which precepts of the Ten Commandments should be LAW in America? ALL OF THEM!

So the first commandment should be law?

The Law of God cannot be perfectly kept by anyone. That's why Jesus had to come, suffer, die, and be raised from the dead as completely innocent, to pay for the sins of all who will trust in him. We can't save ourselves by our good work.

That's why the public display of the 10 Commandments are facing so much opposition. They point directly at the inability of any person to save himself or herself.

Those who refuse to trust Jesus as the complete propitiation for their sin want this evidence put away from view.

So everyone who would rather the government stay out of religion and who think this judge is furthering his agenda are among those who don't trust Jesus?

That's why the public display of the 10 Commandments are facing so much opposition.

So a lot of people oppose the display of the ten commandments? Not just in government bulidings but everywhere in public? Like I couldn't post them on the side of my truck? Or rent a sign on the freeway and put them there? Or place them in public view in my place of business? Or on the church lawn?

Actually there's a lot of truth in the first two sentences of your post. The rest of your post is wrong, though.

Of course, you knew that.

Wrong? Like I asked the wrong question? Or like wrong because those particular questions are inconveinent?

The 'Bama judge should lease (or sell if possible) the property below the granite stone to an individual, private person... ta-da no more claim of government ownership.

I know, sounds silly... but I've seen those dastardly bleeding heart, ACLU-type clone freaks do more sinister things against Right.

Your more intelligent than that. Why are you acting dumb?

Of course you can do those things, but you asked them as if you couldn't, and you know it. Don't act stupid unless you really are.

Abraham Lincoln said, "Preaching a certain message is like throwing a rock into a pack of dogs. The one that yelps is the one that got hit."

Don't act stupid unless you really are.

Same statement to you.

You know it wasn't a question of if you can, it was a question of you acting like that is what is happening. You people are hyperventilating and engaging in hyperbole like the person who put this thread up. Pretending that people who would prefer that government stay out of religion are against faith.

I am a Christian who doesn't need some government thug telling me what I should believe. This whole thing is nothing more than raw meat to believers. You are being used.

Putting government in charge of morality is like putting pedophiles in charge of children.

You may be sorry about what you would get posted in government buildings if Hillary was in charge. Or some Mormon putting the book of Mormon up, or the Koran. Same thing with organized prayer in government schools. You really want some heathen government employee leading your children in prayer? If so, you may want to stop acting dumb because that is truly stupid.

You've got a pretty strong case of projection going on there, bub. You seem to be the one hyperventilating. And you're reading a lot into my post that wasn't there.

Go back and re-read it. You've yelped pretty loud.

It ain't his to sell or lease. And you wouldn't be so quick to scheme about this stuff if the stone had the Koran on it.

I ain't got no wagon. The statement stands on its own merit, but it's always the proper thing to credit the author or speaker.

You're still yelping, pard.
