Former Interior secretary says dams will come down

KETCHUM, Idaho - Former Interior Secretary Bruce Babbitt says the lower Snake River dams are standing in the way of salmon recovery.

The Clinton administration Democrat told a Ketchum fund-raiser yesterday that those dams will be breached, despite the Bush administration's anti-environment policies.

Babbitt claims there's virtually no long-running economic reason to keep the four dams standing. And, he says Bush wants to trample any opposition, rather than looking for a resolution of the issue.

EarthJustice Steve Mashuda says his group plans to sue Idaho Power Company and others to make them realize the cost of keeping dams in place.

Hey Bruth. You need an education:

for·mer2 ( P ) Pronunciation Key (fôrmr) adj.

  1. Occurring earlier in time.
  2. Of, relating to, or taking place in the past.
  3. Coming before in place or order; foregoing.
  4. Being the first of two mentioned.
  5. Having been in the past: a former Interior Secretary.
You no longer get to vote, a&&hole.

"The reason he didn't take action on the dams when he was interior secretary was?"

He was busy having the Bureau of Indian Affairs screw the Tribes out of a "Billion" dollars or so. So much crime, not enough time...

I think the 60s-generation loons are quickly losing any credibility they had under the previous 60s-generation-loon Administration. They're on the way out. We'll hear more babble like this until they finally melt down for good.

" . . . despite the Bush administration's anti-environment policies."

No quotation marks appeared around this statement, so it isn't clear if this was what Babbitt said or what the reporter is saying. If the latter, it is an opinion that has no place being interjected into a news story.

These Watermelon Jihadists like Babbling Babbit are so screwed up mentally, they still think that they are in power.

Less than a week after the blackout, he comes up with this old and worn out "tear down the dams".

Time to make it a federal crime for any enviral whacko Watermelo Jihadists to use any electricity that they don't generate themselves without any of our tax $'s.

There are more damn salmon in the Pacific NW than in decades.

There is a salmon shortage just like there is an oil shortage.

Makes one wonder who is paying his bills, al Qaeda or the Opecker Thugs in Iran/Syria?
