I remember hearing about overvotes - both Bush and Gore's tabs were punched - rendering them null and void. Were there ever any tabulations done on showing whether the rest of these tickets were punched in favor of Reps or Dems or just left blank?

I urge anyone who hasn't done so yet to get their own personal copy of Katherine Harris's book "Center of the Storm".

She tells exactly how, as FL Secretary of State, she followed FL Election laws in the 2000 election.

Of course the demonRATs don't not want to be confused by the facts expecially when their lies are refuted by facts!

Let's see: The Schnellinburg's with votomatic machines and ballots in their car's trunks. Carol Roberts...One: Punching out chads with her finger while recounting ballots. Two: Carol Roberts trying to count ballots behind closed doors (just like in Miami-Dade).

The small number of liberals who did come out would spit, shout profanity, throw cans, tear down signs... I know because I (and a bunch of Freepers) were there.

Oh, and one more thing, there were NO problems with the voting or recounts in Pinellas county. Black, white, yellow, green, chads, times, disenfranchise, etc...period.

If your a liberal reading this and don't believe it, go to http://www.myflorida.com and see for yourself...nevermind, you believe Jeb rigged the election. A$$hole.

We know that in some Black precincts in Philly 125% of the registered voters voted, primarily for gore.

Oh really? Please cite a source or precinct number. That was looked into thoroughly here on FR, and no evidence or precinct was ever found. At the time the allegation was 99% turnout, but its been growing every time the myth has been retold.

Philly is politically a rough town, and certainly fraud may have occurred, but I have yet to see any proof or even circumstantial evidence, just the same old rumors and myths. Very different from Florida, Missouri, and '02 South Dakota.

The state of PA was stolen from Bush by the democrats in inner city Philly precints who pushed Gore - more voters turned out in certain (democrat) precints than there were people eligible to vote!

What evidence do you have to back up that claim? Show me a FR thread with proof or verifiable circumstantial evidence, not just the allegation/myth.

Several precints in PA, mostly around Philly, had more than 100% registerd voter turnout. In many of those, 95% or more "voted" for Gore.

Proof please. Do you have a source, precinct numbers, or Free Republic threads with proof or verifiable circumstantial evidence? So far that oft-repeated story has been a myth, with no one ever able to cite a precinct or source, beyond just rumors.

Didn't some of you guys look into the allegations of precincts in Philly having 99% turnout in the 2000 election? Did ya'll ever come across any evidence or precinct numbers where this was supposed to have occurred, anything besides just rumors?

You'll be lucky if you get any proof here. I did once have the information about which precincts were the guilty ones, but I didn't save it.
The importance of this information today is so that the GOP can make sure that the 2004 elections don't have the same problem.
And if the Dems were being honest, they shouldn't care.

I did a very systematic study of each precinct in Philadelphia, looking a turnout versus registration, and found no pattern of any vote fraud. Some black precincts had very low turnout, and some matched high turnout white precincts. There was one precinct with a 101% turnout, which I assume was a typo, and one with about 98%. Almost all precincts had turnouts less than 90%, and most less than 60%, including most black precincts. So any vote fraud would have to arise from having lots of phony registered voters that show up at the polls. But Philly's turnout vis a vis its population is not out of line.

I suspect it is all an urban legend, and wishful Pubbie thinking.

Thanks for the quick reply, I had a feeling that you were the one who diligently looked into it. But does the single precinct with 98% turnout raise your eyebrows?(for some reason I didn't think there were any in Philly that got that high) Isn't 98% unheard of? So are the size of the precincts small enough that any attempts to ballot stuff in just 1 or 2 precincts would not provide a significant number of votes to the tally?
