Many studies have examined the "gateway" theory, that marijuana use at a young age leads to use of harder drugs as a person grows older. While there is a general consensus among studies that those who use marijuana are much more likely to use hard drugs and that hard drug users usually use marijuana first, there is lively debate surrounding the reasons for these dynamics.

I don't need to. You quoted the article yourself. It never said what you took it to mean it said. The deduction that you made was nowhere in the article. It is never stated that the researchers started off with 311 pairs of twins that had one pot smoker and one non-pot smoker. Never.

Everyday herbs are burned in temples around the world as incense and it is noted in the Bible.

Give me an example of a temple or church that burns pot as incense. Cept, maybe your church.

There is no reason to support this civil war.
