This was "featured" in that Michael Crichton movie that starred Wesley Snipes and Sean Connery... "Rising Sun". The baddie that sampled sushi off the babe was Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, who plays a Japanese bad guy a lot (but I think he was a good Japanese-American cop on "Nash Bridges").
