SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (AP) -- A North Haven bride spent part of her wedding night in a jail cell, after police said she hurled things at reception hall workers who closed the bar.
Adrienne T. Samen, 18, was arrested on criminal mischief and breach of peace charges Saturday after police responded to The Mill on the River restaurant.
When workers there closed the bar, Samen allegedly began throwing things, including wedding cake and vases. Samen left the restaurant, and police found her walking down the road in her gown.
While being taken into custody, police said she kicked the door and window of the police cruiser and tried to bite an officer.
She posted a $1,000 bond and was released Saturday night, police said. She was on her honeymoon Monday.

And who in their right mind would want to be connected for life to this woman?

How did all the New England states (I am a native New Englander) devolve over the past 30 years to where we have such violent 18-year-old, tattooed bimbos beating up on people?

Life? LIFE? HA!
I give it 6 months, tops.

Is the drinking age in Conn 18? I thought most states still had that at 21.

No flames :) My parents catered from Smart and Final. The reception was held at the Elks lodge. We had fun decorating the antlers. My folks hired people to serve the food they bought themselves. There was champagne that my folks bought, and a no host bar. The worst thing that happened was that a family friend, who also was the chief of police, caught my stupid husband and his friends and brother snorting coke off the hood of a car. We all got pretty drunk, but aside from that and the best man puking all over himself and passing out in our driveway, nothing horrible happened.
Oh wait, now I remember! One of his brothers was the dj. He threw on Ted Nugent..."if anyone wants to get mellow, they can get the f*ck out of here"! Yeeeha, try and dance to that :-/ The bridesmaids ran to the store and bought a disco album. Yeah...

Guess the restaurant assumed she was 21 or over and didn't proof her . After all , it was a wedding . Heck , I've been proofed in places I went for the first time when back home to NY in 2001 and I am 51 now !

Oddly enough, I am a Justice of the Peace here in Connecticut and have done two weddings at the Mill on the River restaurant. It's a beautiful place and the staff seems very professional.
I have observed that many brides are just a gentle shove away from full-blown psychotic melt-down during the reception. Alcohol doesn't seem to help much.

Well, that explains the endangered species bit.
