SOUTH WINDSOR, Conn. (AP) -- A North Haven bride spent part of her wedding night in a jail cell, after police said she hurled things at reception hall workers who closed the bar.
Adrienne T. Samen, 18, was arrested on criminal mischief and breach of peace charges Saturday after police responded to The Mill on the River restaurant.
When workers there closed the bar, Samen allegedly began throwing things, including wedding cake and vases. Samen left the restaurant, and police found her walking down the road in her gown.
While being taken into custody, police said she kicked the door and window of the police cruiser and tried to bite an officer.
She posted a $1,000 bond and was released Saturday night, police said. She was on her honeymoon Monday.

The Wedding was perfect, but the reception fell short of expectations.

Who, and where, was the dunderhead groom in all this? He should have been at the courthouse seeking an annulment from this spoiled brat.

A shoo-in (shoe-in?) to be included if Fox ever decides to make a series of its Jan/Feb 2003 show "Bridezillas."

Such a lovely young blonde lady. Just the type of gal momma wants to see her son bring home.

I was wondering how on earth this lovely example of white trash could afford a wedding reception at Mill on the River...*I* can't, for crying out loud.

Don't flame me but I see many a wedding where the bar is closed early and before the contracted time. It usually takes the father of the bride to straighten things out, this one went differently.
Other times the food service is so bad that the guests don't get to dance until the last hour and the bar may already be closed.
