I have yet to hear the Democrats question "Why do they hate the U.N." mantra.

Maybe Oprah will do a show on how the UN can change to make the terrorists like them better.

Actually that doesn't help their spin .. it makes it sound like the UN knew and yet didn't nothing to protect themselves from an attack like today.

I do believe it is an American female soldier. She's much smaller than the other two soldiers.

I believe they are only having female soldiers search females in Iraq as to not cause problems with the men there

I believe you're right. No matter what the UN says now, the UN and ONLY the UN brought this on themselves. For decades, the UN protected and appeased terrorists and gave them legitimacy. Some terrorists obviously feel the UN is getting out of hand with their little token recognition and think they need a lesson.

This is a "thanks for nothing" card from the Iraqi people, who blame the UN for allowing Saddam to torture them all these years.

Either way, the UN is reaping what they have sown.

The UN's answer will probably be to appease MORE. I notice Annan isn't making much of a public statement in this tragedy.

I heard Charlie Gibson of ABC repeatedly say the US was in charge of security at the hotel. None of his expert guests are disputing him. This will be one of the ways the media/democrats will blame President Bush and the US.

I have heard numerous accounts that the UN didn't want that many guards around the building because they didn't want to be like the Americans.

I agree that it's most likely a female soldier. Those soldiers really bulk up during there training and I would be really hard pressed to believe that a male soldier would look that small. I'm sure that there're some short guys, but not with shoulders that narrow.
