The vast majority of Iraqis hate the UN. They do not feel the same way about our Coalition forces, in spite of reports to the contrary...................
I doubt the average Iraqi knows or cares much about the UN. A bombing like this can split off our friends from us.Drive them out of Iraq. Well, they may mot be friends but they were there to help and we can use it.

They know the UN, like the press, Jordan and most of their Arab neighbors ignored Saddam's atrocities for yearsThe Iraqis also know that Saddam was our best buddy for years and that we supported his dictatorial murderous regieme and that we helped him stay in power even as he abused, tortured and killed his own people.

It's time to seal the borders in Iraq and stop the foreign insurgents and US haters from making Iraq another Palestine.I'd like to reword that a litte:
"It's time to seal the borders in USA and stop the foreign insurgents and US haters from making USA another Mexico."

Awful though this is, I'd rather the extremists gather in one place (Iraq) where our troops can handle them.
Otherwise the extremists will live to see another day and take their activities elsewhere - like America.

UN Headquarters Attacked in Baghdad
(CNSNews.com) - Scores of injuries are reported in a huge explosion at a Baghdad hotel, which houses the United Nations team in Iraq. At 9 a.m. EDT, Fox News reported that the Canal Hotel - which is attached to UN headquarters in Baghdad - was a scene of "immense devastation." It appears the attackers, whoever they are, may have used a car bomb to inflict the devastation. A nearby hospital was damaged and the force of the explosion reportedly shattered windows up to a mile away. More to come.

MSNBC: US military says it's a car bomb.

BTW, which is the higher priority, sealing the Iraqi borders or sealing the USA borders?

Time to set up barriers around high profile targets to keep cars away from the buildings.

I can't wait to find how stupid and lax security measures were with these US do gooder types. Nonetheless.... prayers for the dead many of whom were doing good work there. Maybe the UN types now have an idea what Israel is up against with the Paleostinian wackos.
