yes, that was mean, and I'm embarrassed for you. A man died in a horrible way while he was just working for a living. Long hair does not make you a freak. My condolences and prayers to his family.

Long hair does not make you a freak. No, but working around machinery with long loose hair is not that bright. Your hair should either be cut short or secured in some way to prevent it from getting caught in the machine. Same thing with baggy or oversize clothing.
Lots of people are hurt and killed every year because they don't follow simple safety precautions. Sad. It is a horrible way to die. Of course, I can’t think of any nice ways to die.
