GOP's King: Hillary's Attack on Bush Could Have Caused Riots

Congressman Peter King, R-N.Y., fired back at Sen. Hillary Clinton today, saying that her repeated attacks on President Bush as New York City slipped into darkness during last night's blackout could have provoked civil unrest.

In an interview with nationally syndicated radio host Sean Hannity, Rep. King called Sen. Clinton's attempts to blame Bush for the blackout during several appearances on radio and TV "absolutely disgraceful."

He then warned, "There could have been some incident last night, and then you attach that to what she's saying and you get out of control and, before you know it, you have cops fighting for their lives in this city."

Within two hours of the power outage, Sen. Clinton was publicly criticizing Bush for the power failure, telling reporters, "I don't think the federal administration under this president is really focused on making sure we don't have these problems in the future."

King noted that her comments during the early evening hours came at a very precipitous moment for the city.

"We didn't know what was going to happen," he told Hannity. "And all you need is someone who's supposedly a national leader, trying to sow the seeds of division - and you have the police out there trying to keep order in the streets - and you have an elected official basically trying to divide the country, I mean, it's irresponsible to do that."

The Long Island Republican accused the former first lady of "undermining the efforts of what people like [Police Commissioner] Ray Kelly and [Mayor] Mike Bloomberg were trying to do, and Gov. Pataki - and that was to keep everyone speaking as one."

"Even if she had been right," King continued, "that is not the time to send a divisive message. ... It was terrible."

Yo Hitlery, exactly what have you been doing? I believe being the junior senator from NY with the loudest mouth and the leader of the RAT party you do have some say in the goings on within NY? Also, what exactly did you and Bubba do about the power situation for 8 years? You sat on your fingers and reared back on your thumb doing NOTHING except sell our country to the highest bidder.

The real question is "Will Hilly's comments boost her book sales?"

Afterall, which is more important, working together as a team in an emergency, or trying to win a Pulitzer Prize?

If the obstructionist Dumbocrats would stop blocking President Bush's energy plans, this might not happen in the future.

The Hildebeast said --- "I don't think the federal administration under this president is really focused on making sure we don't have these problems in the future."

Perhaps the evil bitch would care to tell us, what she or her worthless, draftdodging, coke snorting, rapist and impeached sonofabitch "husband" did during the EIGHT YEARS they were in office....to address this specific problem..

Surely, the "smartest woman in America" KNEW there was a problem, and KNEW the solution....

Perhaps she was too busy lying, hiding documents, forgetting, burying mistakes, suppressing bimbo erruptions and getting liposuction treatments to take care of the nation's business..

I hope the public is wise enough to toss this bitch out of office ---- soon!

"Clinton hater" is insufficient to cover my feelings for those bastards...

Look up 'opportunist' and Hitlery peers down at you! She's the most self-serving, self-centered, egocentric person I've ever watched. She's the natural product of the 60's ME generation. Wish she'd just lost the election so that we'd be rid of her. New Yawkers deserve her but we don't!

As a Senator from the state most badly affected, you'd think she would have been out there giving comfort and aassurance, trying to resolve the immediate problems, looking to a solution long-term. But no...she has to use it as yet another way to attack the current Pres., overlooking all that the previous ones did and didn't do. And the other Dems grabbed it as the latest talking points. A grid in existence since the early days of Eisenhower and it's somehow the current president's fault that it malfunctioned? Who will buy that. Absurd, as usual.

"She doesn't give a rats' ass about NYC or this Country. "

I know that, and you know that, why doesn't the rest of the world know it? She has got to be the most evil person in this country. Just the thought of her ,makes me want to fight.

We need to be thankful for "little" things.

When clinton and her husband were President, it was physically impossible to sell and export our electric transmission network to China for campaign "contributions". Therefore, it merely languished rather than disappeared. At least we still own it!

Fortunately, those that would cause civil unrest were unable to hear her, since they had no power. Apparently, her audience wasn't her constituency. :)

...HILLARY is hard at work trying to salvage a Democrat California Governorship, including trying to make Gov. GRAY DAVIS look good on CNN's 'LARRY KING-Live' on the night of the BLACK-OUTS by calling into the TV Show ...to divert California Voters' attention away to BUSH as the cause of Everything Electrical Power-Wise.

...This on the same day that started out in the morning with HILLARY's California Mouthpiece ARIANA HUFFINGTON blasting away on TV about her fellow California Governor Candidate ARNOLD's supposed Powerlink to ENRON...

...and ended with over 50 Million Americans living in Darkness.

"I believe being the junior senator from NY with the loudest mouth and the leader of the RAT party you do have some say in the goings on within NY?"

She is much too busy signing copies of her "Lying History" and wallowing in the adoration of her koolaid drinking Stepford RAT fans to be bothered with doing her job. As it is, she has a hard time finding the time to bash Bush.

She's, horrors, supposedly our Junior Senator. I've yet to see her do anything for New York State. All I've seen her doing is trying to promote her book. And I wonder who pays for her trips throughout the U.S.A. and abroad while she trys to boost the sales of "Lying History". Was she keeping an eye on energy in New York State? I don't think so. But she's might quick to blame President Bush. But she blames President Bush for everything, particularly things she and Bill Clinton ignored for eight years. Can anyone, even Democrats, envision her as POTUS?
