Who is Arnold?

Here is a sampler of "Arnoldisms" that should give pause to any Republicans caught up in the mania: "We spent one year wasting time [on the impeachment and trial of Bill Clinton] because there was a human failure. I was ashamed to call myself a Republican during that period." (Schwarzenegger also stated he'd "never forgive" the Republican Party for successfully impeaching Clinton.) ++ "...[I]n reality, I'm for gun control. I'm a peace-loving guy." ++ "I will fight for the environment. Nothing to worry about." ++ "At the moment, they're dealing with it [cloning] by putting the religious spin on it. ...[T]here are some people who are religiously fanatic, that feel uncomfortable with it. But I think that's also a mistake." ++ "I have no sexual standards in my head that say this is good or this is bad. 'Homosexual' -- that only means to me that he enjoys sex with a man and I enjoy sex with a woman. It's all legitimate to me." ++ "You have to understand I am internally conflicted. I have an Austrian upbringing, but an adult life in California."

Arnold is a RINO, and by no means guaranteed to win this battle for CA governor. Conservative Republican's should seriously look at Tom McClintock as a winning alternative. http://www.tommcclintock.com

Tom should make a deal to leave the race in return for becoming Arnold's chief of staff. Arnie can bask in success while Tom can do what he does best, clean up the State's fiscal mess.

I'm not from California, but I agree with you. Arnold announcing Warren Buffett as his economic advisor speaks volumes about where he is coming from. Obviously it would be better to have Arnold over Gray Davis, but after listening to Tom McClintock, He seems to be a solid conservative who can explain to the everyday voters in Cali what it will take to reverse the damage the liberals have done to that great state. I sure hope McClintock somehow manages to win in California.

For those who think Arnold is the next Ronald Reagan, they must have never known what Ronald Reagan stood for.

I knew Ronald Reagan... And Arnold..... You are NO Ronald Reagan :-)

Go McClintock

That's the best idea I've heard all week. Trying to split the Republican ticket is suicidal, especially once the Democratic machine spins up and unitedly back Bustamante. If these Republicans really care about fixing California, they need to get on the same sheet of music. The infighting is petty and counterproductive. Making McClintock the power (and brains) behind an immensely popular throne could do wonders for the state.

There really is no difference between Arnold and Cruz. Both are incompetent socialists, but voting for Arnold means you convince everyone in the middle that Republicans are just incompetent socialists as well.

Thinking Republicans take note.

I'm confused by Arnold's comments, but I think he's made his biggest statement by remaining a Republican. That said, I agree with you that McClintock is our best candidate.

We need to support Tom while there's still time to get out the conservative and centrist vote. People underestimate the conservative core of California, and they're too quick to write off someone like Tom because he hasn't started spending his advertising dollars yet. Go Tom!

EVERYONE must see TERMINATOR 3

The story is even more Exciting,
with Arnold Schwartnegger as the Future
California Governor!

The EVIL Terminator Chick = Hillary Clinton
(it's such fun to see Arnold KICK her butt!)

Appearances by lookalikes of Pete Wilson, and
also Gray Davis!

I had SO much fun watching this film, and wish
I'd had a notepad with me to jot down all of
Arnold's great one-liners!

Arnold VS The Democrat MACHINE!!

A MUST SEE Film
A MUST SEE Event!!!

As you see, if you don't go with Arnold, you'll lose the
chick vote. Convincing Arnold to appear with Pee Wee
Herman alot is about the only way you're going to get
your women to vote for Tom.

Those quotes are pretty bad, but in Arnold's defense read this quote at the bottom of the page.

I am a fan of McClintock having heard him on John & Ken's show on KFI. I am also a realist and know that he can't win against Bustamante, to whom all the Dems will flock as a desperate move. That's why I'm voting for Arnold no matter how many anti-Arnold "quotes" can be scraped together to turn off possible Republican voters. We're playing into the Dems' hands by fragmenting the Republican vote, just as it was known that they wanted for a long time. Arnold was known for a long time to be a Republican, a mix of views - definitely not a Dem, since the Dems dissed him for his Republican views. If Arnold wins, McClintock will be able to advise that governor in a way he can't possibly advise Davis - or Bustamante.

They should have done a lot more to Clinton than just impeach him. He should be in jail. He should have never been President; because he showed that he was not a leader in any sense of the word. He and Miss Hitlery screwed America over and as far as I can tell are still doing so.
