Mindanao is one of the Phillipine Islands.
They're in the Pacific Ocean, Southern Hemisphere, Planet Earth.

Mindinao is the very large island near the southern end of the Phillipine archipeligo. The islands near by are populated by Moros and are traditionally Moslem. There are a few islands a little further south that are claimed jointly by the phillipines and I think Maylasia. (possiby Indonesia).
Mindanao is the home of very large Dole Plantations. Also, the monkeys have no tails in Zamboanga.

It's in the south of the Philippine archipelago and the second largest of the islands after Luzon. My dad was there during WWII setting up radio stations for the Coast Guard.

Philipines...but who cares. I live in Cincinnati and we could have the place nuked by terrorists and the press would not cover it. If someone gets a hangnail in New York they have live coverage overnight on FOX.
