Just hours after the Northeastern power grid went down shutting off electricity for 50 million Americans, New York Sen. Hillary Clinton took to the airwaves to blame President Bush and his administration's energy policies for pushing deregulation and coddling corrupt power companies like Enron.
"I happen to think that making sure we have a reliable, affordable system of energy is a national priority - and I don't think that this administration sees it that way," Clinton told CNN's "Larry King Live."
"They have continued to try to push deregulation and privatization, and to try to undo a lot of the systems in changes that many of us thought were important and necessary that we tried to work on during the Clinton administration under [Former Energy] Secretary [Bill] Richardson's leadership."
Sen. Clinton also accused the White House of throwing "a lot of roadblocks in the way of [Calif. Gov. Gray] Davis, when he tried to clean up some of the problems that he had with the manipulation of the energy markets by Enron and others."
"So, no," she insisted, "I don't think the federal administration under this president is really focused on making sure we don't have these problems in the future."
Before Clinton phoned in her comments to the King Show, however, Gov. Richardson, now governor of New Mexico, noted that her husband had done little to address the problem during his eight years in office.
"In the Clinton administration, everybody yawned about this, [saying] oh, we don't need to do this. Oh, we don't have a crisis," he told King.

Maybe we can find a way to convert Hitlary's fat into energy. It is biologically possible, we just need a conversion source... Think Joan of Arc ;-)

It isn't a coincidence that the areas most effected by these energy crisis (California and the Northeast) are regions totally controlled by liberals.
Excellent observation.

Normal people DON'T support her. But she has a lock on the abnormal vote. Isn't it amazing how many people are abnormal these days? They look just like us, but their brains are warped...

So, she got on cnn AND msnbc (they deserve to be in small letters from now on) and blamed the Bush Administration? While it was still dark in N.Y. State? Knowing that no one in N.Y. will hear her? But she knew she was talking to an aware American Audience. Yeah, she's in for 2004 alright, otherwise, she'd be talking about a solution so this wouldn't occur again......but she's a Saul Alinsky Sycophant, so I'm not surprised at this behavior at all,it's to be expected. 2 more reasons I'm proud I don't watch those channels with any regularity.

She is so full of used food... LOL, roger that. If I remember right, the last big power failure happened around 1965. Did the Hildebeast try to blame Bush for that one too?

Cannot verify this, but a caller early a.m. to WABC New York, said that he, in Westchester, was still in the dark, but Hillary's Home in Chappy was lit up like a "balloon" ...perhaps some of our tax $$$ is in generators ...

Dear Senator Clinton!
I believe we should look into the feasability of going to all nuclear power!
Thank you for reading this, you fat ass bee-itch,
and why don't you get your stupid @$$ back to the senate where you belong???
Thank you!
A concerned citizen.

She seems to have failed to remember that there was at least one major multiple state blackout in the western states during the clinton administration and under the leadership of Richardson.

Hillary Clinton and Chretian are close. They spent spring break together.
Would not surprise me if he yanked the power just after we announced our al-quade capture to give Hillary a boost.
He made a stupid remark about a lightning strike (like we can't figure out that was a lie?)
Why else would she make the huge mistake of jumping in front of this issue ASAP. It's like she knew it was coming, and thought it would last for days and she could gain momentum from it.....think about it.
Now the power is coming back, Chretian is caught in a lie, and we have her shutting up.
To: Puppage
I know! Let's have that power talk now! While we're at it, let's throw in the drilling for oil in the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska! Let's get them on the record FOR ALL OF IT!
To: dead
He's campaigning for her.
She's running as the "smart" Clinton.
To: Pagey
New Yorkers are a disappointment.
They let California one-up them by recalling their Governor. They should be ashamed for not holding up their end for the East Coast by recalling Hillary.
C'mon, folks - take her out! Recall Hillary!
To: mabelkitty
I hope there is a camera on her when Bush wins re-election next year - that thought gets me through reading these threads!
To: Texas Mom
She's been really cranky since that house fell on her sister...
Hey, Hildebeast:
The blackout was caused by a lack of power.
The lack of power was caused by environuts and their Demobaath minions.

Let us not forget that Bill Clinton made Enron possible, by exempting them from PUHCA back in 1992.

Let me see, I believe it was Jimmah Carter who killed off nuclear power in this Country. He set up the license to operate process to take 18 years.

Most don't 'Get It' about HILLARY.
They don't think like HO CHI MINH did during his push to take over South Vietnam for Communism.
Take yesterday for example:
Thurs AM:
HILLARY Mouthpiece & Calif. Gov. Candidate ARIANNA HUFFINGTON tries to link ARNOLD to ENRON on TV.
Thurs Afternoon:
A massive Power Blackout in America's Northeast starts up in the same place in upstate New York as a similiar one did in the 1960's.
Thurs Evening:
HILLARY herself tries to link Enron & this new Power Blackout to President BUSH on CNN's 'Larry King-Live' TV Interview Show.
Thurs Evening:
On TV the Liberal Canadian Government blames power blackout on a Lighting strike on a Buffalo, New York Nuclear Power Plant.
Thurs Night:
An All-Day Thursday Lighting Map for the entire United States shows NO LIGHTNING present north of Georgia-North Carolina in the East ...which is NOT shown on TV.
"It's the TV, Stupid, no matter WHO pays for it" = CLINTON M.O., still
