Never Having Been Children Themselves....

W. C. Fields used to say “Anyone who hates small dogs and children can't be all bad,” well, actually, they can. The people who are in charge of making the rules in Lopatcong Township New Jersey, have decided that apart from visiting their town or just passing through, children should neither be seen nor heard in their rural community.

According to the New York Times, the town has passed an ordinance limiting construction of “new multifamily housing units to two bedrooms.” In effect, the powers that be do not want families living in their town.

I'd move there. No soccer moms voting for outrageous school bonds again and again. No annoying undiciplined brats running around. Anyone name a few others?
