Mornin', everybody ! Happy Wednesday !

Wow. Look at THIS from The Dallas Morning News (posted on FR) ...

Richard Michael Pruitt / DMN
The exiled Democrats watch an Internet broadcast of their GOP colleagues voting to levy thousands in fines against them if they don't return to the special session on redistricting.

This bit of obstruction will cost them $1,000 a day and double per day up to $5,000 per day until the end of the second called-session !! hehe !!

Good for them. It's about time they suffered for this obstructionism. I am so sick of the dems behavior when they lose. They act like 2 year olds. Whatever happened to being a gracious loser and coming back to fight another day? It's not just Texas - it's all over the country. Disgraceful!

Don't these democrats understand that when you don't govern within the rules you become a dictator? They should automatically be disqualified and thrown out of office when they break the law this way!

Whaddyaknow! Under the Worthless Word of The Day website, I found this:

plunderbund - [U.S. colloq.] A corrupt alliance of political, commercial, and financial interests engaged in exploiting the public.

Source:

1914 Voice of People (New Orleans) 8 Jan. 1/1 The whole force of the Texan plunderbund..are howling at the heels of the dauntless army of workers.

Even back then, eh?
We may now refer to these obstructionists as The Texas Plunderbunds !!

Yep - worthless, all right.....

Hi Meekie. This is the first chance I have had to check your link.

Sen. Rodney Ellis called the proposed fine a poll tax......"My daddy turned 82 years old while I was here," said Sen. Rodney Ellis of Houston. "He had to pay a poll tax to vote. I won't pay a poll tax."

I read the article twice trying to understand how on earth they are equating a fine for not doing their Constitutional duty as state senators with having to pay a poll tax. Then I realized it was an exercise in futility. Since when has a liberal had to actually make sense or have logical reasons for their behavior? They just grab onto the most convenient racially charged catch phrase and go with it. Sheesh!

Anyway, thanks for the link Meek. This episode in Texas helps us Californians realize that we aren't the only ones dealing with liberal nonsense.
