Hillary: Bush Intimidation Tactics are 'Very Dangerous'

In yet another salvo fired at the White House, New York Senator Hillary Clinton is accusing President Bush of trying to intimidate the American people, warning that the tactic is "very dangerous."

"There is this effort to intimidate people," Clinton told the Kansas City Star during a book signing in the city on Monday.

"This idea that if you raise questions about the administration's policies, you're somehow unpatriotic, is very dangerous," she explained.

Clinton, who still insists she isn't running for president, also criticized President Bush for maintaining what she described as "an evidence-free zone" when it comes to his decision to attack Iraq.

Invoking the memory of President Harry S. Truman, the former first lady noted that the 33rd president used to declare that "the buck stops here."

Referring to the flap over Bush's claim that Iraq sought uranium from Africa, she said Truman wouldn't have been "dancing around for weeks over 16 words in a State of the Union (speech) ... the way the current incumbent did."

Arguing that all of President Bush's policies were "pretty disturbing," Clinton then zeroed in on the economy, saying that Bush "threw away" what was, under her husband's stewardship, "the best economy our country's ever had."

As for her charge that the president was trying to intimidate people, the Star did not ask her about recent revelations by her longtime advance man, Patrick Halley, who said he hired "goon squads" to rough up protesters at events where she spoke.

hillary! seems to have forgotten (what again?)all of the FOB that suffered from Arkancide. And that couple who were thrown in jail when they gave slick the bird.

And speaking of "dancing around" hillary! also seems to have forgotten the months and months of her husband's fancy footwork dueing the Lewinski thing.

The buck stopped anywhere but with mr. & mrs. clinton during the most ethical administration in the history of the world.

The woman is delusional. Dancing requires movement, and Dubya stood still!! Took the assualt over the "16 words" while never changing what he meant by those "16 words", he never danced around a blame thing! It is not his problem if the attacks from all sides weren't damaging, the libs are just very bad shots.

She is SUCH a frikken liar.

"This idea that if you raise questions about the administration's policies, you're somehow unpatriotic, is very dangerous," she said.

Reminds me of a very dangerous situation in a prior administration. When some people raised questions about the corrupt, unethical President, the President's shrewish wife attacked them as belonging to a vast conspiracy.

She went on to say, "If you want an idea of how DANGEROUS it is to oppose a poweful politician, just look at how many people died opposing my HUSBAND."

Hillary hasn't forgotten anything, she is just lying, (as all democrats do)....and her brand of lying, along with the whoppers told by her impeached hubby, are lies of a nature and level not seen since Stalin....the Clintons have made lying an art form......they are masters....the ART of lying (Zen-Clinton).

Sorry, I forgot the </ sarcasm> tag.

When mr & mrs. clinton became co-prezidents, they vowed (haha) that theirs would be "the most ethical administration" ever.

But hey, what's one more lie from the clintons?

Gee, I find the Dems idea of a middle class, working family far more dangerous and unpatriotic.

Something about Hillary commenting on "intimidation" tactics seems very ironic to me.
