May God bless this tiny baby and those who love him.
Since my neice is a nurse in an NICU, I'll pray for her nurses and doctors, too.

What a beautiful little guy. What an Angel! We're praying for a miracle - in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Father, heal and reveal Logan to his parents that they might see the child he can be. Please guide them, and guide the doctors. Let them receive the best care, the best advice.
Please, Brad's Gramma, tell them that I have been involved with three of these very premature births, and nearly had one myself. In each of these cases, doctors told the parents to pull the plug at some point, that their babies would be "too brain damaged" to live. One set of parents chose to follow the doctors advice, and they will never know if their daughter might have lived a beautiful life. The other two babies parent's refused the doctor's entreaties to end their infants' lives - and their babies grew to be bright, happy children. They were not horribly brain damaged; they even learned to speak and sing. They were not perfect, but whom among us is?
I'm beginning to think that all the neonatal units have a "doctor death" that exorts the parents to pull the plug; this way, they cannot be sued for wrongful death if the parents choose life. But how many beautiful babies have been needlessly killed by this practice? Don't take anything they say at face value; one of these children was born at 22 weeks, and each week the doctor would come around and try to get the parents to pull the plug. This little boy, now three, is so darling, and so funny, and so alive, all because his parents believed that he deserved a chance to live...

Tell your friend not to worry, as long as she is getting the best in medical care.
I have twin grandaughters, turning five next week. They were born 3 months premature. One was 1 pound 14 oz., the other was 14 oz. That's right, 14 oz.. Within several days she was down to 10 oz..
Both little girls have been not without problems, but they are coming along very well. Fortunately, their father has great medical insurance. The first three months' bill was about $1 million.
By the way, prayers certainly don't hurt.

My wife was an ICN Nurse. Some of those tiny ones are incredibly plucky. Will pray.

Our friends had a baby that weighed in at 1.2 lbs I think. They used grams and I had to convert..might be wrong on the exact weight. He'll turn 13 in November and is just perfect.
