If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

Thank y'all soooo very much for the pictures! Praise God for Logan!

Thank you TC for the pictures. Been a bad month for me and I really needed a smile. And, as usual, seeing Logan makes me smile no matter what.

Those pictures kinda make your mouth pucker, huh?
To: TexasCowboy
Pucker? How about that Goofy Logan Grin TO THE MAX!!!
To: TexasCowboy; Texas Termite
Loved the pics and captioning! BG is right about the puppy looking so small now. LOL! So glad to hear that Logan is doing so well!
I just had to grin when I saw the pic of you two guys with the cowboy hats. I don't think y'all could've come up with better screen names than Texas Cowboy and Texas Termite judging from that picture. The little guy is really growing into his hat. He's gonna be a long tall Texan one day. :-)

Did I tell y'all that I got to change his diety??! His Nana was wishing for a Number Two for me to change, but Logan felt sorry for me.
He was just wet.
He saved the other for his Nana and mommy.
BOY! Baby stuff has come a long way!
The last time I changed a diaper I had to stick myself with a safety pin several times!
Now you just Velcro them on!
AND.........Logan's mommy has a WIPER WARMER!
To: Texas Termite
Dear Little Termite,
AuntieN here. We all need you to do us a BIG FAVOR! We know you love us and won't let us down.
You know those squishy ones you leave for Mommy and Nana sometimes? TexasCowboy would LOVE to change your diaper with a squishy one sometime! He told me so. He called me, in tears I tell you, in TEARS, that he didn't get squish.
I know you can do it. YOU (hehe) GO! LOGAN!!!!
Love, AuntieN and The Crowd
To: TexasCowboy
Logan certainly is looking fine, happy, and healthy. ... thank you for posting the photos.

(Osama, you're going down.)
To: TexasCowboy
I didn't do this for me! I did this for all of you that can't get to see him!
It was a lot of effort, but I don't mind sacrificing myself for all of you.
I didn't have any fun seeing the little tyke. It was pretty boring, but someone had to do it. I am always amazed at the lengths you will go to for the rest of us. You are always willing to save us these troubling matters.
.
Weird a$$ed Marine ...........

I've got a feeling you're gonna get to use the wiper warmer for a Logan #2 job...Nana and Auntie N will see to that! LOL.
To: TexasCowboy
If those pictures don't steal a heart, there's just no heart there to steal.
To: TexasCowboy; Brad's Gramma
Ain't nothin' like a goofy Logan grin!!!! Everyone should have one. And everyone does that gets on this thread, thanks to both of you.
To: Brad's Gramma
ROFLOL!!! I figured you'd help Nana see to it that TC got to use the wiper warmer for a major Logan #2 job! (grin)
To: HoustonCurmudgeon
You are gonna be in SO MUCH TROUBLE! LOLOL!!!
To: LucyJo
I can wait. Very, very patiently, for the right moment.
(hehe)....and I DO hope Nana has a camera ready. HAHAHAHA
To: MissAmericanPie
We need also to teach that cowboy about g forces, so he can soar with the Eagles when he's not singin' with the Angels!

Yep. That's Puppy.
Give Termite a hug for me too, next time you get a chance.
Have you begun to introduce him to the fine art of BBQ? 8-)
