If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

Ryan has good days and bad but this week has been very good, thank God! The folks at PT fixed his tricycle with blocks and a special fitting for his rt. foot and he was able to peddle his trike (with the help of the PT pushing with an extended handle). He did so for about 20 mins. Then
the therapist and Ryan played hide and seek with grandpa. Ryan was just delighted! He has problems with that rt.leg and foot, but that day, he did wonderful. We had taken him to PT, as my daughter had an appointment that day, and we were thrilled we got to see him do so well.
His innocence breaks my heart at times. We always want him to stay over night at our house, but he doesn't usually want to leave Mommy and Daddy. However, two nights ago he wanted to stay. When he and I went to bed, he asked me if my knee feels better when I lay down in bed because his leg feels so-o much better when he lays down in bed. Sure hope that his leg gets better soon. We think they're going to increase his medicine. He's a blessing to us and we thank God everyday!
Please keep praying for him....we really appreciate all the prayers.

Oh God, I just got this post and it is after 7pm in the west. Does anyone know how the two remaining of the triplets are doing after their heart surgery? Oh, I will pray very hard for them tonight. Was out having a good time today beginning very early at a ball game. didn't know anything about the babies heart surgery. Oh I hopw and pray they will be fine. Prayers all around for sure. Thank you for that information. Thank God Logan is doing so well.

My prayers continue to be with the little guy. I hope that Ryan continues to show a lot of improvement and the pain goes away. It must just break your heart. I have sent you a freepmail. Please give him a big hug from me. :)

I hope they came through OK. Prayers for Logan and the two remaining triplets.
In the last couple of weeks, we got a set of quads, a set of triplets, and many tiny twins. All of us are working way too much OT. Please keep all of us NICU nurses and docs in your prayers, that we may overcome our tiredness and continue to let God and His angels to guide our hands and minds to do our very best for His special children.

"Please keep all of us NICU nurses and docs in your prayers," DL, I'm awed at the love all the nurses and doctors in the NICUs have for these little ones.
It takes tremendous dedication to do the work you do.
May God give you the strength.

The twins came through their surgery today, but one is going to have to have more surgery in the morning.
So far, so good.

"In a coupla years he is gonna be driving yer truck!!" Logan and I have already talked about him coming to one of our shoots.
He doesn't want to start with anything wimpier than a .50 caliber, but he'd prefer a belt-fed full auto.
'Course I don't influence him at all.........

Good to see ya, BG!
FOUR POUNDS HEADED FOR FIVE!!

"When can we start calling him Tubby?" LOL!
Anytime now, stanz!
All his little wrinkles are full of fat now.
Whooops! I meant to say, "muscles", Logan!

Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks for the flowering life of Logan ... we rejoice with the family and with all those who care for him, for surely this child is so richly loved. May this love fall across his tiny roommates, sheltering them and nurturing them, giving hope and confidence to their family. Thank You for guiding the medical team with success ... may it be, dear Lord, that there will be equal success in the next surgery.
How fragile and frail these little ones, Father ... yet how incredibly strong You have made them. We are in awe, and pray for Your continued strength for each one, in the name of Jesus, Amen ...
