If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious
and this is her reply
A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years
but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen

Immediate prayers going up for Logan and Emily.
Heavenly Father,
We come to you again, asking for Your intervention in the health of Emily and Logan. Lord, we know of Your love and compassion. You have already shown us that You are the great doctor. We ask that You remove all infection from little Emily. We ask that you enable her to receive the nourishment she desperately needs and that she thrive. Lord, we also ask that You remove any ailments or symptoms that are leading doctors to believe that Logan has CF. We ask that You heal any problems in his body before he sees another doctor. We ask that you comfort Logan's family and give them peace and comfort. We ask all of this in Your Son's name, amen.

How many times, O Lord, have we returned unto You with tear-stained hearts and agony of prayer for the tiniest among us. Greatly are You to be praised, Merciful Father, now and forever more, for You have granted unto Logan and his family, healing and strength beyond human endeavor. The blessings You have showered upon Logan have been proclaimed near and far as a witness to the power of Your children in prayer, and we continue to seek Your mercy over him as he faces yet another challenge. May Your healing hand continue to rest upon him, that test results will reveal that all is well. May the hearts of all those who love our beloved boy be encouraged through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
And may it be thus with little Emily, struggling so. Be her very breath and the beat of her heart ... the blood of her body and the strength of bone and marrow, that she would survive, and thrive. Direct every aspect of her care and guide every decision and procedure of her medical team, that she would become the reality of our hearts' desire ... healthy and happy and at home. Bring alongside those who will encourage and support Kim in these long and lonely hours ... may every thought and prayer for Emily and Kim translate into strength and endurance and encouragement and health, to the everlasting Glory and Honor of Your Name.
May it be thus, O Lord, may it be thus, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ we pray, Amen ...

BG, my preemie is praying for her preemie. We all are.
The worst thing is not being able to hold them. The nurses in the NICU told us that they talk to and are held by the angels between visiting hours. What a happy thought. ;-)

Father, we lift up little Emily to You. You know this little child whom You have created, and You love her...
In the name of Christ, heal her. Give us eyes to see Your hand at work, and the wisdom to know how to help her.
To: Brad's Gramma
Please extend our prayers to Logan's family.

He was 2lb 3oz, lost to 1lb, 4 oz.
Seems like forever ago now...
