If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious and this is her reply A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen
Fellow Freepers .I bring you Logan!!!
My favorite, you can see the inner Logan shining out in that one. I think he wants to tell the photographer that enough is enough, but he's too cool for that. :)
Oh, y'all coming down for Christmas?
Looks like it won't be cool until at least then.
If you come much sooner, ya gotta bring some rain, or there won't be any water for showers or bathes and such.
Where in the world is BG???
Miss V and PJs are indeed gorgeous. For some reason Miss V's hair always looks sort of red in photos, but in person it's a very light blond with just a hint of yellow, but no red at all. (Although it probably will be some day. Many of the blonds on both sides are strawberry blonds, and my mother in law was a red head) Her Uncle Mike (her Dad's brother) says she and her cousin Peyton both have the same hair. He calls it the "Einstein look".
What a little miracle dude! Praying for the whole family, doctors, nurses, that they'll get to see this little guy riding around on his trike in a few years.
Darned if I know! ;)
Poor Charlie, too. Now WHY would you bring HIM into this mess? You SAID you'd not say a word!!!
Cute
Don't hurt yourself there, rolling around....! ;)
Thanks!
Pinging Logan's Naneeeeeeee!!!! :)
( Emily was born 9-10-06 and her mommy's name is Kim)
Emily is now one month old today and fighting everyday. She is now at 1lb 15 oz. She is swollen. They are keeping her paralyized to keep her stats up. She desated down to 39 today and should be at least between 80 and 95. So it has been one of those days. My niece drives 50 miles one way each day to sit by Emily's bed. She can't hold her yet. She is so fragile. Actually she doesn't get to touch her much at this point. But, everyday before she leaves, she touches her hand and prays with her.
She has had an infection in her gut that has set her back. She needs nourishment to help with the healing and maturing of her lungs. Prayfully soon she'll be able to eat.
We know God can heal and we are asking for a miracle.
It is so good to talk with someone who has experienced a miracle ---- It increases our faith. I pray God will send someone to encourage my niece - Kim.
And now, to our Logan....once again I'm begging everyone to pray HIM through yet another medical obstacle.
His doctor(s) feel as if he has Cystic Fibrosis...he'll be tested on November 21. Needless to say, Logan and his family are again in serious need of our prayers.
Dear Lord God, we all come before you again with prayers for this child we've grown to love AND Emily...Lord, they need your help. They need Your healing Hands upon their bodies. Please let Emily grow Lord, please let her go home with her Mommy and Daddy...
Lord, Logan, the child we all love...Lord please, PLEASE let these doctors all be wrong. From this time until November 21, IF he has this, please let there be yet another miracle for the (once) Tiny Baby called Logan.
In Your Name we pray...Amen!
Sorry for the double ping....
Emily had a twin brother who passed away....I forgot to write that in my original post.
And our prayers are again given with love.
Godspeed.
I join you in prayer for Emily and her famiy, and for Logan and his famiy. Lord, thank you for your blessings on these, your children, and grant them healing and wellness.
Prayers for our Logan and Emily!
