As pressure rises in the chamber, the surface is also rising and there is a measurable increase in heat. But vulcanologists do not know when Yellowstone will blow."
Time to 'drill' and lance this boil?

Time to 'drill' and lance this boil? Then there was the nurse who used to get everything bass ackwards. Instead of operating room 4 at 2 o'clock, she'd show up at operating room 2 at 4 o'clock, and so forth. Anyway, one day she was given orders to prick a man's boil. The man was last seen running down the hall, half-ass gown a-flapping, with the nurse in pursuit, carrying a pan of steaming hot water.

Time to 'drill' and lance this boil? I would think that the results would be similar to attempts to punch a hole in the side of an overinflated balloon in order to try to "relieve" some of the pressure.

"Time to 'drill' and lance this boil?" Or maybe we could drain the lake of water and fill it in with cement. The cement would be heavier than the water and could be a counter to the increasing force below. If nothing else, it would create in a lot of jobs.
