I was fortunate enough to receive a whopping $12.00 tip from Julia,Danny Moder, and the film crew when they dined in my place of employment last year sometime, they were in Glen Ellyn filming "OLD FRIENDS" There had to be 12 of them in all. My boss picked up the check, why, God only knows, the bitch makes millions a flick! Whatever, anyways, the check was around $125.00. I would have thrown more down on the table, thats alright, next time I'll let someone else wait on her, she was a pain in the ass anyways, her and her Brad Pitt wanna-be boyfriend (now husband). Or next time she can get up and serve herself.
We had Sean Hayes in the restaurant this week, from "Will and Grace", my sister waited on him, she said he was really, really nice. Apparently he is from Glen Ellyn, and was home for the 4th of July weekend.

Julia was in town to research a film role. She was treated to lunch at the local diner. When the bill came, it was paid for by her fellow dining companions. Julia said that she would give the tip. The bill was $75. Ms. Roberts left a whopping $2 tip, and I know that the waitress worked her ass off to serve her table. Julia the cheap bitch makes millions, how dare she leave the hard working waitress only $2!!!! What a cheap ass bitch..........

I heard that smokers who drink heavily are the best tippers. I know I tip pretty good! ;-)
(Actually, I don't drink like I used to and my smoking days are quickly coming to an end.)
Just more proof that there is nothing that is a more meaningless indicator of being a real Christian than regular church attendance.

Even his yes-man was embarrassed when I asked him directly if his better was always like that. This man's self-importance only exceeded his demands for servile attention. Perhaps he was having a bad day, or his guard was down.
No, he wasn't having a bad day. Mr. Cosby is legendary both inside and outside of show business for being one of the single biggest phalluses in the galaxy. In my entire life I never never seen anyone have a nice thing to say about him who didn't either have a vested interest in remaining in his good graces (those who have to work with him or for him), or - big surprise here - RAT politicians, for whom he often makes public appearances so that lesser candidates can bask in his glow. (Just a couple of days before the 2000 election, he showed up here in West Virginia at a campaign appearance with Algore, because the RATS knew they wouldn't be able to get enough people to show up at the rally if it was just Algore. And even then, they had to bus in tons of union members to fill up the plaza. It was laughable all around. And The Cos acted like a total horse's ass there as well, from all accounts.)

Strange attitude. The first time I heard of it was a super expensive jewelry store owner that refused to wear any jewelry. It was from the shop don't you know and too like regular people to have her wear gorgeous baubles.
Go figure.
As you might expect, I tip generously, when it is deserved and earned. Conversely, I tip niggardly, when it is deserved and earned.
He claims to be a Libertarian. Fine with me. In Hollywood, anyone to the right of Pol Pot is considered a conservative.
I took the family to a new local Mexican restaurant yesterday (Las Lomas). My initial impression of the food was iffy, as the chips weren't the freshest and the salsa didn't have any cilantro in it... but we didn't sit there for more than five minutes at a time without someone coming by. Three servers and a hostess were constantly wanting to know, what did we want to drink? What did we want to eat? Did we need more water? Did we need more chips or salsa? Was everything okay? Were we enjoying our food? Were we having a good time? and etc., etc...
Every request that we made was met courteously and promptly, with a smile and a kind word. We didn't spend a ton of money there (I just don't have it to spend), but we tipped 25%, and we'll be back soon.
(By the way, the entrees were very good for cheap Mexican food, as it turned out.)
My wife & I love Mexican food and we remember when El Tapatio was pretty much the only Mexican place here in R.M.
In fact, El Tap. (the old location) was the place where we had our first date!
We still go there sometimes, but I'm glad to see other ones coming to town.
We have not tried Las Lomas yet, but have been to Pueblo Viejo (in Westridge S/C, further down Winstead Ave) and San Jose (beside Old Navy).
I wasn't too impressed with Pueblo Viejo, but we liked the food at San Jose a lot! The service was so-so.
I'm glad I finally saw your ping, because we were just talking about going out to get Mexican tomorrow or Friday night.

Re: the price of the entrees, that sounds right up my alley.
We have to watch our $$$ too (we just got back from vacation).
