RECALL SUPPORTERS ATTACKED IN SACRAMENTO
PROTEST AT TAXPAYER-FUNDED ANTI-RECALL WORKSHOP TURNS VIOLENT - DAVIS THUGS ATTACK RECALL SUPPORTERS
ATTACK CAUGHT BY FOX NEWS CHANNEL CREW
Charges To Be Filed as Recall Supporters Rushed to Emergency Room
(SACRAMENTO) Recall Gray Davis supporters were violently attacked a little more than one hour ago by Gray Davis supporters. Those who were assaulted have been taken to a local hospital emergency room in Sacramento.
A protest was underway against taxpayer-funded Workers Against the Recall workshops that were being led by a coalition of labor union organizations including the publicly-funded University of California Institute for Labor and Employment (UC ILE). The UC ILE received $4,000,000 of taxpayers money in the budget signed by Governor Davis one week ago (Saturday).
Protestors were across the street from the event marching peacefully when Davis supporters rushed across J Street in Downtown Sacramento and began beating recall supporters. Davis thugs also attempted to steal and destroy YES on RECALL signs from recall supporters.
Gray Davis anti-recall campaign continues to stoop to new levels. The use of taxpayer money to fight the peoples recall campaign is revolting. The use of violence and physical attacks against recall supporters is disgusting and reprehensible. We call on Governor Davis to save any last shred of decency he has and condemn the use of violence against innocent citizens, declared Recall Gray Davis spokesman, Joe Wierzbicki who was present at the protest.

It's going to be a hot summer. Remember that in California the hot temperatures can last until the end of September; the hot tempers by October 7 will might make Florida 2000 mild in comparison87 degrees where I am. And nothing could compare the the national disgrace that was put on display for weeks on end in Florida during the last Presidential election.

The Davis' motorcade zips around CA at 94 MPH, his thug supporters treat their political dissenters with a fist to the face?
Me thinks someone thinks he's above the law and the will of the people.

Union thugs. Bastards.
To: Impeach98
Gray Davis and his thugs are obviously frustrated that it is all crumbling down around them. They are lashing out and deserve to go to jail. They are more than frustrated, the socialist Davis machine is coming to an end, they are literally dying a political death.
The people of California are just about ready to give him something for his legacy. It will be historic!
We personally collected almost 200 signatures. With me it's a personal vendetta, a glorious payback.
We are witnessing a political earthquake....
Bravo California!

I have an idea. How about if the new governor balances the budget by rolling back the extremely generous pensions (90% of salary) that Davis gave those union thugs two years ago. That's the primary cause of the deficit in the first place - why not fix it?
