RECALL SUPPORTERS ATTACKED IN SACRAMENTO

PROTEST AT TAXPAYER-FUNDED ANTI-RECALL WORKSHOP TURNS VIOLENT - DAVIS THUGS ATTACK RECALL SUPPORTERS

ATTACK CAUGHT BY FOX NEWS CHANNEL CREW

Charges To Be Filed as Recall Supporters Rushed to Emergency Room

(SACRAMENTO) – Recall Gray Davis supporters were violently attacked a little more than one hour ago by Gray Davis supporters. Those who were assaulted have been taken to a local hospital emergency room in Sacramento.

A protest was underway against taxpayer-funded “Workers Against the Recall” workshops that were being led by a coalition of labor union organizations including the publicly-funded University of California Institute for Labor and Employment (UC ILE). The UC ILE received $4,000,000 of taxpayer’s money in the budget signed by Governor Davis one week ago (Saturday).

Protestors were across the street from the event marching peacefully when Davis supporters rushed across J Street in Downtown Sacramento and began beating recall supporters. Davis thugs also attempted to steal and destroy “YES on RECALL” signs from recall supporters.

“Gray Davis’ anti-recall campaign continues to stoop to new levels. The use of taxpayer money to fight the people’s recall campaign is revolting. The use of violence and physical attacks against recall supporters is disgusting and reprehensible. We call on Governor Davis to save any last shred of decency he has and condemn the use of violence against innocent citizens,” declared Recall Gray Davis spokesman, Joe Wierzbicki who was present at the protest.

Anyone remember the liberal media touting Gay Davis as a leading democratic candidate for president? Don't hear that talk anymore, do you. I think he should run for president anyway, hell, he's no worse than any of those other clowns.

The shirts could be from Thugs R Us, Allied Tirades Line. They're not very bright either. Black t-shirts absorb heat. They were hot bozos.

I looked at some expense lists and I believe the union PAC paid for the shirts.
The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, AFL-CIO, CLC has total assets of $42,959,463. That's the union, not the PAC. The PAC seems to have had about $3 million flow thru in the 2002 election cycle. About 500K was spent on political contributions and the rest pays for "dinner" and "software" etc.
The deal is one hand washes the other. I make life easier for you, you show up and support me and get rid of the opposition.

Do you recall when Hillary drove through a checkpoint at an airport full bore? The press didn't cover that story for long. DNC, the pushy party.

Why are there Davis Supporters ? The recall is on. Davis can't run. He's history isn't he ? Why even waste time protesting against Davis at this time if he can't run for re-election in this recall that is alledgedly a done deal ??

Just asking , hope all are well......Stay safe !

It's quite obvious they waited until the FOX camera was elsewhere. Jeez, I can't believe some people on this site are making light of people who have gone to the hospital for X-RAYS! You only do that if you're hurt, nobody in their right mind wants to spend their Saturday in the ER.

ERs are absolutely jammed on weekends, everyone knows that. They'll be there for hours.

Hey boots!

I was just listening to noticeras on Univision, and the commentator said that Schwartzenegger's entry in the race was, "el beso de muerte" for Davis. You gotta love it!

Was it an accident?

They didn't show the video on TV. The live commentary audio indicated that she did it on purpose. She "bumped" the mics and just kept on walking as if nothing had happened.

That's cute, but I doubt even these idiots would be that stupid to post such a statement.
