CONGRESSIONAL IMMIGRATION REFORM CAUCUS Rep. Tom Tancredo, Chairman

September 10, 2003 Event Announced

Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO) today announced that the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus will hold a news conference on September 10 to present statements by several victims of the 9-11 terrorist attacks. The victims will tell their personal stories and how the events of September 11, 2001 are related to the nation’s open borders policies.

“The victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 in Washington, DC and New York City have a powerful message to share with al Americans,” said Rep. Tancredo, Chairman of the 68-member Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus.

The news conference will be held at 11:00 AM at the US Capitol in Longworth Park, which is adjacent to the Longworth House Office Building.

Other events aimed at spotlighting the victims of open border policies previously scheduled for Sept. 10 will be rescheduled for a later date in order to allow participants to focus exclusively on the 9-11 victims and the issue of terrorism.

Questions about the news conference and the participants may be directed to Rikki Horton in Rep. Tancredo’s office (202-225-7882).

I don't think the write-ins are counted, they certainly aren't reported. I would be curious to know which of the potential candidates Representative Tancredo thinks is the most in tune with him with regard to the borders and illegal immigration.

I'd write the email to ask him, but it would probably be more effective if someone in his district did that.

You might try contacting this group:

I'm sure they can answer any questions you have about it. Personally I have seen no candidates thus far that have taken a strong stand against the invasion or for defending the borders. They're all bad... so far.

Some benefits, both at the state and federal level, are denied to men who are not registered.>>>>>>>

Good Link !!....glad to see some states are requiring SS registration (for illegals) re: student loans & drivers license. I just *hope* states are enforcing these laws.
I wonder *if anyone* checks SS Reg. on the thousands of illegals given amnesties on the 245(1) bill that our gov't keeps extending the deadline on ??

I don't think I've ever read about any illegal getting charged for not being registered with SS. Just another one of US laws not enforced against illegals, I guess.

Re: my son's card.....One part had his name, SS#, dob, & date registered.....at the bottom it says 'safeguard this card'......the other part only has his SS# & his 'registered date' on it. Neither card says "it must be carried". I wish I could locate the letter that came with the cards, I'll keep looking, but it's in a 'tipical teenagers' room.

Illegal aliens should all be rounded up and expelled immediately. There should be an emergency crash course program, all law enforcement, volunteers should get together and go block by block and track down any illegal alien because they are invading our country. They have no right to be here. There are many millions of illegal aliens here. All should be thrown out immediately in the worst way possible, not treated well. They should be thrown out brutally so they know never to come back. Soldiers should be put on the border with shoot to kill orders. Anybody coming acroos the border is invading this country. America has the right to defend herself. Someone comes into your country, you have a right to shoot them in self defense. You won't have to have signs in spanish warning them. Believe me, after the first five or six are killed, they will get the message, very, very quickly. You won't have to translate it.

There must be a strict policy of no more immigration, of troops on the border, of rounding up illegal aliens and throwing them out and offering voluntary expatriation to those here who are already citizens. They've got to be offered money to leave and many of them will take up that offer because many of them have never seen money like this. It will be a decent sum of money but it will be a fraction of what we'll end up paying over their stinking lifetimes.
