Casting News: "Saving Jessica Lynch" (Rushing that Made-for-TV crap to air!)

SAVING JESSICA LYNCH (NBC) - Laura Regan ("They") has been tapped to play U.S. Army Pvt. Jessica Lynch in the Peacock's telefilm about her rescue. Conflicting reports about the event have forced NBC to make updates to the original script by John Fasano and will now focus largely on Mohammed Odeh Al-Rehaief, the Iraqi lawyer who alerted U.S. military officials to Lynch's whereabouts and has since relocated with his family to the United States. Production is set to begin this month for a November air date.

I'm sure that, in the spririt of the commieliberal leftists who infest Hollyweird, PVT Lynch will be portrayed as a closeted lesbian who secretly hates America and want's to return to Iraq to be with "her people". Also, the soldiers who rescued her will be shown as rapist, pillagers, and baby killers and the Iraqi who led them to her will be the 'religion of peace' preacher.

This was expected, but damn it's sad. The NBC Executive whores support Tom Brokaw and Katie Couric on every liberal slam of W. and the War, then rush to appeal to the patriotic side of mainstream America. They are just whores!

Hearing folks saying it's racist to honor Lynch while ignoring the black woman soldier who was captured and wounded.

Hearing folks saying Lynch is no hero.......well when the media stops referring to John McCain as a hero then I'll rethink calling Lynch a hero!

And frankly, I'd rather be hearing about Pvt. Jessica Lynch than Kobe Kobe Kobe.

OK, I'm curious. I really do try and keep up with the news every day. Hell, I even record it for viewing and listening later if I have to work. Same with talk radio....

***ok, you folks can tell me I have no life***

But, I don't recall any official testimony of J.Lynch's rescue ever being released. How the hell is hollywood going to make a movie about it if nobody yet knows what happened and those who do aren't talking?!?!

Does anyone else think that they are opening themselves up to some serious issues of credibility?

Wait! What was I thinking?!?!
