OMG.......you hit it right on the nail head.......what IS it about his voice that drives us insane???? He has some HORRIBLE elocution, like he's rolling his tongue or something. Can somebody PLEASE explain it to me!

This subject actually got some serious news coverage in 2000. It's the DRONING. His intonation, especially combined with his body language, make him come off as, well, what he IS: A guy who thinks - no, KNOWS - he has all the answers to all the world's problems, and is completely (and continuously) exasperated that he can't get all us proles to understand "The Truth." Plus he has more than a touch of the pucker-faced schoolmarm that we all hated in elementary school.
