Reagardless if he is or not, I still say he should keep his day job and leave the election to the pros....like Tom McClintock.

I think that if enough McClintock voters stay together on this, he has a possibility of winning if enough voters split among Issa and any other Republican candidates.

I am not sure if I want him to run or not. On the one hand he is a RINO, but on the other hand, if he runs he can definitely win.
Davis and his mob will go negative on Riordin like ugly on Maxine Waters.

Let's face reality here. McClintock (or any other conservative Republican) has about a snowball's chance in hell of winning. This is California. The ONLY Republican with broad enough appeal to win is Richard Riordan. If he runs, he'll win. Otherwise, Governor Doofus will be around till 2006. Conservative Republicans who LIVE in California must ask themselves whether or not they want Doofus to be goobernor for the next 3 years. If the answer is yes, then by all means split the votes between Issa, McClintock, etc., but don't bitch and moan for the next 3 years because y'all helped to keep Doofus in the governor's mansion.

I have heard on the radio that McClintock has already turned in his papers to run.
