I sure hope that Campbell Brown is stuck down there today, daydreaming of escaping to an airconditioned Louisiana jail...

LOL at your keywords.
I bet it's a dry heat, though.

What's the wind chill factor? I was hauling water to cattle about twenty miles from Crawford all day yesterday.
To: Diddle E. Squat
It's a lot hotter in Iraq. And the natives are not as friendly.

Live a couple of miles from the National Weather Service and Storms Prediction Center here in Norman -- it is 117 heat index here in Norman! Maybe we can send a few extra degrees down to Campbell Brown as a gift!

Heh heh.
For what it's worth, it's 86º now here in eastern NC.
To: bedolido
If the dew point is above 55 it is no longer dry. (just something I have learned living in Phoenix)

Got me beat - it was 110 at about 12:15 when I ran home to grab lunch. Nice and dry, though, so very pleasant!

Ha, we're getting Phoenix weather in Dallas right now. 107 degrees, 23% humidity, 62 degree dewpoint, and heat index at 110.

Palm Springs TV weather dorks tend to call this the "Swamp Cooler Index" to help the viewers decide which method will work for the upcoming day.

Maybe, if it gets to be too much, the press can go hole up with their Dim heroes who ran like chickens.

Hopefully the press is melting like an ice cube on a parking lot.

The high down here in the deep south is 86 deg. Global warming is a Hillary.

78 degrees here in coastal SoCal, but the "Gray Davis factor" makes it feel like hell.

LOL, no doubt!
To: Diddle E. Squat
I've been in a kitchen all day, so I didn't realize how hot it was. (sarcasm off)
I always say: "If you can't stand the heat.... there's always the walk-in reefer for a short break and someone needs to count stuff in there..." ;>)
It is good to see some of the reporters slowly melting away to shadows of their former selves. Maybe the President should charge the overweight ones for a 'sure-fire' weight loss program.

I ran across some lefty hate site that had an article about how Bush's ranch in Crawford was nothing more than a "movie set." Guess the heat is real enough. I love how the these elite media-types have to suffer without their $8 lattes in a hot, sticky, Texas town.
