Ok, looks like everyone else is asleep. I'll be freeping while working. So I'm here in FR, but off of Finest for the night. Night to all.

Circling back to say good night, I found your question.
The Esteemed martin_fierro liveth on the West Coast, and is known for - well...several things - one, his cheery GOOD MORNING EVERYBUDDY !! posts here.
Has been in recent lurk mode, so I successfully lured him out to check in, missed by many.
After observing my many Selves, he created that LadyX ZOT WOMAN graphic for me..:))
Shows my under-the-surface SuperDuperWOWPOWER Persona - LOL
In other words, you do not want to be the object of her wrath, invoking the U.S. Marine Self (check my Profile Page) to 'handle' a situation...
She is the polar (bi-? tri-? lost count!) opposite of the ordinarily demure
Good Night, everybuddy.....and you, too, martini_ferrari, wherever you are - -

LOL. Always. Good night, Calpernia. Thanks for coming and having fun with us today again. Gee, you're nice.

I get the impression (totally assuming...knows nothing for fact) that Louie is single.Keerect!
He would run screaming if he encountered the aftermath of mom exchanging formal single self for married with children.
Louie might, wolfie wouldn't. Wolfie sees all manner of weird things in the woods. : )
BUT there is nothing wrong with a virtual dance!
So let's hit the dance floor Louie!!!!
Wolfie will pick you up at eight this evening. Wear a helmet! LOL

Now that I've read most of the Finest, I think I will return to bed and wait for all the lucky sleepyheads! No one should be awake at 4:00am.
Talk to you later, Angel!

I missed the dance. I was sleeping. I dance for chicken and rice, which I'm doing at this very moment.

Chicken and rice, Yum!
CHICKEN LONG RICE
2 1/2 lb chicken thighs
3 quarts water
1 tablespoon salt
1 1/2 tablespoons minced ginger root
1 large onion, finely chopped
5 chicken bouillon cubes
8 oz long rice
3 green onions, chopped
Put chicken into a five quart saucepan. Add two quarts of the water, the salt and ginger. Bring to a boil, skim, lower heat, and simmer for forty minutes. Remove from heat and drain, saving broth. Remove meat from chicken, discarding bones. Shred meat and set aside. Put broth, onion, bouillon cubes and the remaining one quart water into saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add long rice, then lower heat and cook, covered for 5 minutes. Turn off heat and let stand about 30 minutes. With kitchen shears, cut long rice into approximately 3- or 4- inch lengths. Sprinkle with green onions.
