1 Tim 3:2 says the "overseer" (grk: episcopos) must be "above reproach." Now the world is taking pot-shots at the ECUSA because of the lifestyle of this man - he, and the denomination, are now being reproached.
This is just another DQ on his slate. Robinson needs to step aside now...for the sake of the ECUSA and the Anglican Communion and for the Church world-wide!

No problem. Anybody this far out and irreligious, and apparently unrepentent, gets THROWN OUT of the church and is not allowed to perform any religious rites until he seeks and gets help. No problem. So easy. The church will not do it because of their worry about bad press down here on earth. I fear the people who CAN do something about this madness will share hell with these perverts. This should be a no-brainer.

Beats me.

I can't resist here printing the marriage ceremony...
You would think that homosexuals would understand that what they think they want simply isn't marriage, no matter how much they try to make it so.
"DEARLY beloved, we are gathered together here in the sight of God, and in the face of this congregation, to join together this Man and this Woman in holy Matrimony; which is an honourable estate, instituted of God in the time of man's innocency, signifying unto us the mystical union that is betwixt Christ and his Church; which holy estate Christ adorned and beautified with his presence, and first miracle that he wrought, in Cana of Galilee; and is commended of Saint Paul to be honourable among all men: and therefore is not by any to be enterprised, nor taken in hand, unadvisedly, lightly, or wantonly, to satisfy men's carnal lusts and appetites, like brute beasts that have no understanding; but reverently, discreetly, advisedly, soberly, and in the fear of God; duly considering the causes for which Matrimony was ordained."
"First, It was ordained for the procreation of children, to be brought up in the fear and nurture of the Lord, and to the praise of his holy Name."
"Secondly, It was ordained for a remedy against sin, and to avoid fornication; that such persons as have not the gift of continency might marry, and keep themselves undefiled members of Christ's body."
"Thirdly, It was ordained for the mutual society, help, and comfort, that the one ought to have of the other, both in prosperity and adversity. Into which holy estate these two persons present come now to be joined. Therefore if any man can shew any just cause, why they may not lawfully be joined together, let him now speak, or else hereafter for ever hold his peace."

In watching FOX interview several other "Bishops" today, and then having scriptures in Timothy quoted to them, they deny GOD's words.
"Homosexuality is an abomination in the sight of GOD"
I think that's very plain! You're either with GOD or you're against HIM. Apparently the Bishops of the Episcopal Church are against HIM. What a sad condition for the people - their church has substituted the truth for PC.

Forget for a moment this guy is a homosexual. The 700 club interviewed him. He doesn't even believe Jesus Christ, and His atonement, is the only way to receive eternal salvation, or the Bible is God's word. Why he even associates with this "Christian" church, speaks volumes about what a total joke the Episcopal Church has become. My advice to Episcopalians, leave that church as quickly as possible.

It's going to be an issue, this is not a mere rhetorical
reductio ad absurdem.
"S&M spirituality" gets three hits on Google, but I didn't feel like following the links.
