LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) --Rejecting criticism from some of his Democratic brethren that he is too liberal to be elected president, former Vermont Gov. Howard Dean says that the real problem is that "the Republican Party and even my own party has simply moved too far to the right."

Yeah, some Democrats are getting way too conservative. Why, the other day, Lieberman implied that limited religious expression and private ownership of property might be acceptable under certain special circumstances.

Democrats are lobbying for transgender rights, that hurricanes have african american names, and that Iraqi citizens should continue to remain under the authoratative rule of a despot, that slaughtering the unborn is a nobel right, that religion should be beaten into the closet, and that 2 guys fudge packing are morally equivalent to a man and woman committed and procreating...
Yea, they have just become right wing radicals!

"Ummmm, Mr. Dean, exactly how does cutting taxes, i.e. the amount of money they take from my check and put in the government coffers cost people their jobs??? This is not logical Jim."
I think it only costs government jobs...but don't confuse him with the facts.

If you want jobs and investment in the country, you're going to have to have a Democrat because the Republicans simply can't handle money.A year ago I would have fell on the floor busting-a-gut over this one...now I just sigh....

A year ago I would have fell on the floor busting-a-gut over this one...now I just sigh....Does no one understand that we have been through a recession and are in the midst of a war? The deficit will come down as the economy grows.

Dean is the best. I cant get enough of this guy. I even bought Time and Newsweek today in hopes that these become big selling issues and those rags continue to write about him. He is the best thing for the future of the Republican party. We need more Democrats like Howard Dean!!!!

"What the American people are going to see, should I get the nomination, is a Democrat who is not afraid to be a Democrat
again,"
I believe you mean a Democrat that's not afraid to admit he's a communist.
Dean is the epitome of the anti-American, unConstitutional, communist-thinking, beaurocratic pig which has plagued our Nation since the onset of the Cold War.
To: Pikamax
I think he's refering to Zell Miller. The rest of them start at the extreme hard left, then go further left. They're so far to the left they consider Karl Marx right wing.

Nikita Dean (ie: Nikita Kruschev) is a nightmare for Democrats. His proposed $2 trillion tax hike on the American people will...his bank-busting socialist proposals of government run health care...his threats to force gay marriage nationwide, whether or not the American people see it in their interest. The way this guy whips up fringe-left lunatics by shouting anti-Bush epithets and hyperbolic demagougery over the state of the nation is both sad and hilarious. Once you realize how the Left is driven by resentment not compassion, you realize how a hate-monger like Dean can climb to the top.

Bwahahaha!!! The best news I've heard in the few years FR has been around.

Still haven't seen much talk about him sealing all his Governor records from public view...surely he has nothing to hide (right). The reason you won't see much talk about it is because President Bush did the same thing with his records as governor of Texas. If you make a big stink about Dean, then there is going to be a big stink made about GW also.
