It has some of the Toyota sombrero. Toyota is probably a sponsor.

What is your opinion of China's arrest, torturing, and imprisonment of house church members?

I disagree. I knew an athlete that missed out on the Olympics thanks to Jimmy Carter. These kids train their entire lives for one chance to win. No one should take that away from them over political B.S.

Tell that to my friend Lucy who escaped China and made it to the U.S. She didn't make it the first attempt...she was caught and spent years in prison doing forced labor. When she was finally released, she saved up money to buy her way out again...that time she made it.

She got to America, worked her buns off at a factory and saved every penny. She now owns her own restaurant & paid for her mother, father & brother to make it here legally. Her brother was the last one to arrive here about 8 months ago....he had to wait 7 years. The stories these folks have told me are staggering. You like China??? Talk to someone who lived there.

How did you know my mouth is fat? I'm not proud of it, but I do have quite a fat mouth.

Also, thanks for the book recommendation. Do you think I will benefit from its content? I do have some difficulty in winning friends. Are you a commie?

Poor American, you do not learn the meaning of ZhuanKe art, which has thousand years history.

Hey! That sounds like you were being condescending, something expressely forbidden on Free Republic. Now, if you want to be rude, obnoxious, aggressive or arrogant that is another matter, but condescension is always interpreted as "hate language" and can result in a hefty fine. Watch your step, Wealthy Chinaman.

Manja said your mouth was fat. Since he was talking to you, I thought it appropriate that I info copy you in my response.

Tell it to the athletes.

Try reading what the Olympic games are supposed to represent and then get back to me.

Jimmy Carter has never been right.

Jimmy Carter allowed American hostages to be held for over 400 days while he did nothing. There was a pathetic and poorly planned rescue attempt that was opposed by his pacifist administration.

The only action Carter could muster was to boycott the Olympics??!!?? To quote Ann Coulter; "A fearsome blow was struck at little 14 year old American girls who had spent their lives training for the Olympics."

BTW, would you happen to know the site of the '04 Summer Olympics? If not, would you happen to have some Gray Poupon?

I am a Chinese student studying in US. I come from Zhejiang, a east province in China. I have some Christian friends in US. They always asked me the same question when we first met. As far as I know, I never met such kind of case. My grandma is a Christian for 60 years. She began to believe the God before CCP get the power. All of my aunts go to church regularly on Sunday and I guess there are more Christians than CCP member in my hometown. I cannot say there is no sutuiation you mention in your question. But I never see one by myself.

No problem.

It would be nice if we could have a "Copy:" block as well as a "To:" block for our posts.

Maybe this is something to add to the list of desirable features to consider for the next software upgrade?
