"An injustice anywhere is an injustice everywhere," Bryant said

My, my, my. Hypocrisy drips from "R" bryant's lips. Or doesn't he consider rape an injustice?

In accepting the award, he paraphrased the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

An inspiration to adulterers everywhere.

These cases are like this - full of surprises!

Rita Cosby assured one thing with her breathless report over the weekend: it's not going to be tried in Eagle, Colorado.

She just cannot keep her blabby mouth shut.

"It also is apparently the first time that someone has said the woman reported the alleged rape to another person immediately..."

Another example of poor reporting by ignorant "news reporters"

One of the very FIRST reports stated the same thing. That she told a bellhop that she had been raped.

I can't be the only person who remembers?

If the bellhop is disinterested (i.e., not a close friend of hers or boyfriend), and coroborates her story and the torn clothing, Kobe will be nailed on this one. He'll go down to Canyon City for some hard time.

That would support the idea that she did not concoct the story.

Obvious statement of the day.

Were there any security cameras/video that could have captured the accused walking or returning back to the mail lobby area?

I'm sure this may be part of the 'evidence' that the prosecution may have available.

I don't buy it. If someone comes to me and says they've been raped I call the cops or at the least tell my manager, I don't drive them home.

Sorry - *double-correction*

Were there any security cameras/video that could have captured the *accuser* walking or returning back to the 'main' lobby area?

I'm sure this may be part of the 'evidence' that the prosecution may have available.

This has settlement written all over it.

I feel sorry for Kobie, imagine the first time you are unfaithful to your wife of only two years whom you adore to the tune of $8,000,000 that this happens. The first and only time. You have to feel sorry for this poor guy. No wonder he was crying, I would cry too, that was a really big ring.

I'm getting really tired of selected leaking of "evidence" by both sides in these high profile trials for the implied purpose of influencing future jury panels.

You either have a case, or you don't.

Well over two weeks ago I made a list of the evidence against Kobe. You would not believe the grief I got. It seems a lot of the items on my list turned out to be true after all. Still waiting for the other shoes to drop.

List
1. Hotel employees witness her behavior immediately following the event.

2. She had torn clothes (I further predicted that there would be a button that was torn from her clothing in the room, we shall see).

3. Her physical abuse was visible.

4. A witness heard a commonition in the room (this has yet to be proved).

5. Proof of forcible rape was returned from the crime lab.

6. She has taken a lie detector test and passed (this has yet to be proved).

As an aside, If this story is true then it doesn't reflect well on the hotel if an employee tells another employeee on premises that she may have been raped, yet the police are only called by the alleged victim 12 hours later.

Did the bellhop keep it to himself, or mention it to management, who then chose to ignore that a possible crime had been committed in their facility? Maybe 'looking the other way' is an attractive selling point to their celebrity clientele, but I certainly wouldn't want to stay there. In essence, did the hotel view future earnings from celebrity guests as hush money?
