Well, then why did she SAY she did then. I am not the only one who heard her say that, you know.

I'm not the one here saying what's true and what's not.

BushCountry has said from the very begining that she TOOK AND PASSED a lie detector test.

After being repeatedly asked what his proof was about that (and ignorning that question) it now has hedged its bet by saying (not yet proved.)

It's a rumor being spread by BushCountry, plain and simple.

The Fox story at the link keeps shifting with each update, but here is how it appeared yesterday at redlipstick's post. Also, I believe redlipstick heard the original Rita report.

LINK

A co-worker of the 19-year-old hotel employee who accused Bryant of assaulting her June 30 told Fox News the woman was visibly "shocked and upset" after leaving his room.

In addition, Fox News has learned that the woman told another co-worker who drove her home after the alleged assault that she had been "forced to have sex with Kobe Bryant."

The co-worker, a bellman at the resort, told friends and fellow employees at the Lodge & Spa at Cordillera (search) that the woman was crying after the alleged attack and her clothing was torn. He also said he drove her home minutes after she emerged from Bryant's hotel room. It had previously been believed that the woman waited until the following day to tell anyone about the alleged incident.

When reached by Fox News, the bellman, also a friend of the accuser, said he had been instructed not to talk about the case.

I don't know how many more ways I can say this: when I heard Rita on the Breaking News Alert on Saturday night, she said "When I talked to the bellman..."

Why would I lie about that?

Howlin, did I say I thought you lied about it?

I heard Rita say that there were two co-workers, the bellman and the other one.
I distinctly heard her say, twice, that the bellman refused a request to talk to her.

No, but you keep posting to me with quotes that imply that Rita didn't talk to him, which makes me believe you think I'm lying about it.

I'm telling you what she said; perhaps she realized that what she did was wrong.......or perhaps someone at Fox told her she wasn't suppose to be telling every single thing she's heard.

If she didn't talk to him, she flat out lied on national TV Saturday night.

She should NOT be trusted.

I'm not the one here saying what's true and what's not.

Yes you did. You said "...things that aren't true..." in post #86 when referring to his statements. How do you know these things aren't true?

BushCountry has said from the very begining that she TOOK AND PASSED a lie detector test.

And he clearly said that it hasn't been proven. I think we can speculate here. Like sinkspur says, if we weren't allowed to speculate here, we couldn't even discuss this case. Bushcountry clearly said the lie detector test hasn't been proven, it's something he believes happened. What's the problem with that?

After being repeatedly asked what his proof was about that (and ignorning that question) it now has hedged its bet by saying (not yet proved.)

Must've been another thread because he didn't do it here. If he comes on here and says it hasn't been proven, why are you unhappy with that?

It's a rumor being spread by BushCountry, plain and simple.

You enjoy them when they're against the alleged victim, but complain when they support the victim...as with your attacks against Rita Cosby.

No, she said he refused to discuss the facts of the case. But she did say she talked to him.

And he clearly said that it hasn't been proven.

And the ONLY reason he says that now is because in the beginning he stated it AS FACT..........and he got called on it. It's not a fact. Now he's had to back off because, in case you haven't noticed, the only person on earth that is talking about that is BushCountry.

And in the same vein, I am not lying that all reporting since has been that the bellman would not speak with reporters.

She may have said it, thus revealing her source was, in fact, the bellman, or you misheard. And yes, I know someone else, who knows I don't consider her rendition of events to always be accurate, said the same.

Now, I could give two figs if Rita Cosby spoke with the bellman or not. I am curious to know if the story is accurate and will he be a witness and will he be credible.

You enjoy them when they're against the alleged victim,

As I have repeatedly said to you before, you don't know what you're talking about.

And you obviously can't retain crap -- I've repeatedly asked you NOT to post to me because your posts are so filled with inaccuracies and specious gossip you're not worth bothering with.

Then that must've been another thread. Why do you continue to complain when he comes on here and properly qualifies his statement? And again, how do you know his statement are untrue?

I did not mishear anything. Neither did Jrabbit; he/she heard it, too.

We discussed this earlier this morning

"Do you think the DA's office isn't doing that?

And why are you so seemingly offended that Kobe would try to defend himself?"

Yes, I think the DA's office is doing that, quite possibly on a smaller budget than Kobe's team.

I'm not "seemingly offended that Kobe would try to defend himself." What makes you think I am "seemingly offended?"

I fully expect his lawyers to use every trick--just like OJ's lawyers, and just like Westerfield's lawyers.

Does it "seemingly offend" you that I put this into such company?

The fact that you are describing the defense's effort on Kobe's behalf as "tricks" is a dead giveaway.

As I have repeatedly said to you before, you don't know what you're talking about.

So you're an unbiased observer? I think anyone whose read these threads can see your one-sidedness.

And you obviously can't retain crap -- I've repeatedly asked you NOT to post to me because your posts are so filled with inaccuracies and specious gossip you're not worth bothering with.

Innacuracies and gossip? Where? You spent several threads initiating arguments with me. You can't just shut it down because you can't win. You don't like me posting to you because I reveal your inconsistencies, as on this thread.
