WETA officials, who had strongly opposed Arlington County's decision to build a $100,000 pavilion and gathering place for day laborers near the television company's Shirlington offices, now say they will work with the county on the project despite their continued concerns about traffic and safety.
The pavilion, approved by the Arlington County Board in a 4 to 1 vote this week, will be built on county-owned land where some public television employees park.

WETA is Washington DC's Public Broadcasting Station. It is so nice to see the compassion of the liberals on display as they want everyone else to take care of the world's problems, but refuse to help themselves.

Sharon Percy Rockefeller, wife of Senator Jay Rockefeller and president of WETA has lived in a world of make believe all of her life, and is far more comfortable with Barney than with that lowly dayworker trash that she wants to shield "high level" visitors to WETA from.

This is Wash Compost liberal spin to cut the legs off the story. I testified at the hearing and believe me, WETA is very ripped.
