There is a "very real potential" that the al-Qaida terrorism network could again strike the United States, Attorney General John Ashcroft said Sunday.
"Al-Qaida is still bent on injuring the United States," he said. Ashcroft later said that he believes Osama bin Laden's organization wants "to strike us whenever and wherever they can."

You're such a intelligent and relevant poster that I'll be getting back to you ASAP on all of the precient points you've made, since you've framed my position on the issue perfectly. </ sarcasm>
What fear? There's been concern about a possible attack and anger at those who may do it. But the only fear I've seen is on the part of Democrats who are scared out of their minds that Bush will trounce them in the next election.
Stay Safe !
Oh the old dunderheadish "what freedom have you lost blah blah blah". You've been hanging with roscoe, sinkspur and kevin? They think they're bright or something when they ask that one.
Where do I start. The Freedom not to have my house robbed by the fedswithout disclosure. The Freedom to not have some a$$hole undereducated imbecile rifling through my medical, financial and whatever other personal info they choose. The freedom to not treated as a potential terrorist. The freedom to have a lawyer and a clear charge and public trial. The freedom not to have a drooling moron attorney general seize power for himself and the exectuive.
Wait.... I knew it was written down somewhere, here it is!

Amendment VI

I'm glad to have shown you this simple English text for the first time in your life. Now you have no excuse for parroting other posters by asking brain-dead dumb assed questions like "What freedoms have you lost...."
The reason why most of us don't answer that question is because it's too damned stupid to dignify a response with.
See, I judge people's value as human beings solely on whether they agree with everyting I say!
If you prefer to be killed by terrorist than allow someone to have access to the knowledge you had an appendectomy 10 years ago...who am I to stop you.
I see you don't even give a damn about reading the f***ing answer to the question you asked because you came back with an irrelevant response about my appendix.
