No wonder CSEA refused to tell me how much money was going to politics! Oh, brother! Comwatch and I staged a protest at CSEA not too long ago.

This is the very same union that ENDORSED GRAY DAVIS FOR GOVERNOR!!!!!!!!!!!

Corrupt, dishonest, thieves!!!

I used to be a member of this union - not by choice but by "extortion". You don't have a choice; they take union dues right out of your paycheck.

Eric Hogue KTKZ Sacramento Radio Host was on this story. Hope he continues to expose these creeps!

I am beyond mad.

"Gail, you were wrong in stealing the money, but, heck, that's a gamble too. Call me when you get out of jail and we can hit the casinos together, you're my kind of gal, a true gambler."

"White collar" criminals typically are treated rather nicely. If she had robbed the local 7/11 of $200.00, she'd be dealt a much stiffer jail term.

And what's this bull$hit about her only getting less than two years in the slammer for stealing over a million dollars............

She needs to do 13 years and not in club Fed either. She (supposedly) has none of the money to make any redstitution so rot in prison I say. Just let an armed bank robber try to plead that he blew it all gambling because he's a victim of his gambling habit. He will get nowhere.

That's it...I'm gonna go steal me a million dollars. Then I'm gonna put it in an offshore bank account, then I'll get caught and say I gambled it all away, then I'll turn myself in (bonus points), and say I'm addicted to gambling (pitty points), get 2 years serve 6 months, leave the country, and be a millionare.

Has CSEA responded to any of your demands, other than using them for TP?

Good luck in your fight.

The million dollar stuff isin't as upsetting to me as the idiot I observed friday while eating lunch in a tavern. Payday, and he was flush with cash. He handed a 100 dollars to the barkeep and asked him to put 50 on the Powerball and 50 on the State Lottery. He was dead sober.

I'll have to support this guy with my tax money when he can no longer work and there isin't a damned thing I can do about it. While the fat-cat, cigar smoking, bastards behind all of this laugh all the way to the bank.

Having worked with that union in the past, I'm not at all surprised. In fact, having worked with numerous union thugs over the years (all Dems, I might add), I would only find honesty, competence, and integrity from them to be surprising.

Bill Bennett used his OWN money - he was FREE to do what he wanted to do.

Or does someone want to DEMAND that he spend according to their wishes instead?

Isn't that called communism, socialism, extortion?

"White collar" criminals typically are treated rather nicely.

Imagine how you'd feel right about now if you were a state employee who was forced to contribute to this union (you don't have a choice) and then come to find out a union employee is taking your money and blowing it gambling! Never to be recovered. And this creepy disgusting union criminal is going to get maybe two years in jail! Imagine how you'd feel! Sheeeeeeesh!!!

I am not a Puritan, and never thought much about gambling. But standing in line in convenience stores over the years has filled me with disgust and contempt towards it. Decrepit cars filled with the stubs of losing tickets, (when they are not simply thrown out the window, more often than not), two women buying tickets with pounds and pounds of pitiful rolled coins, story after story, year after year....And if that is not bad enough, the Casino Spams!

Then I see the ads on TV for the casinos, and am baffled how anyone could consider that a good time- I would rather have a root canal during an IRS audit than set foot in one.

"Gambling is a tax on people who do not understand statistics".

To me at least, it appears to be a stupid, pointless, and futile activity.

One funny aspect to it, though, was a Black friend telling me that "A car floor covered with losing lottery tickets is a White Trash Alert".

Fraud is also rampant in the DC teachers union, the DC police dept., the DC fire dept., DC city college etc. Fraud is right under our legislators respective up turned noses and they ignore it.
